🚗 Exciting updates for Punggol's autonomous (#AV) shuttle services!   After hearing from residents, LTA has been working with the operators, ComfortDelGro and Grab, to make AV rides more flexible and convenient.   With Grab's upcoming pilot which will commence in the next few months, commuters will be able to book an AV on demand to travel between the existing designated stops on Grab’s Routes 1 and 3. Instead of following a fixed route, the AV will take the most direct path to your destination, providing a more direct and convenient journey. 🛣️   In the meantime, existing fixed-route services will continue to operate alongside the enhanced on-demand service, giving commuters more travel options while continuing to serve those who prefer the fixed routes. 🎉   Stay tuned for more details! 👀   #RideTheFuture

Planning your journey just got easier 📱🚆✨ From today, commuters will be notified of real-time train disruptions on Google Maps when they search for a journey. What’s changed? During train disruptions, LTA currently announces via MyTransport and the LTA website if the delay is minor or major, depending on the estimated length of service delay and factors such as the length of the sector affected. While this provides a useful indication of the overall impact, the actual delay experienced varies depending on where each commuter is travelling to and from. This enhancement builds on our ongoing efforts to improve commuter information, including our centralised train status page at mytransport.sg/trainstatus 💻, improved wayfinding signage on trial at Serangoon MRT station 🚉, and planned service adjustments information on Google Maps. We hope this will help you make more informed travel decisions on the go.

👮‍♂️🚨 Last month, our #AMEOs spotted 373 offences and impounded 182 non-compliant devices islandwide. #UpLorry #DidYouKnow We’re currently installing real-time speed limit signs in areas with higher active mobility (AM) usage to encourage safer riding behaviour. This allows AM users to check their travelling speed limit against the prevailing path speed limit before they are detected by the Active Mobility Enforcement Detection System (AMEDS) cameras. 👀 In a separate case, we also took actions against Shiplah! Technologies Pte Ltd for importing a non-compliant PMD without a valid LTA import permit. The company was charged in court, fined $1,500 and the device was seized. #Reminder Importers must ensure that all mobility devices are compliant with Singapore’s regulations and have valid LTA import permits before importing them. ⚠️We’ll continue to take firm action against errant users and retailers to keep our paths safe for everyone. 🤳 If you spot errant users, report them at go.gov.sg/report-am

#GoodNews To support active commuting, we’ve added more than 6,000 bicycle parking lots at 59 MRT stations islandwide. More lots will also be added at Serangoon, Chinese Garden and Farrer Park MRT stations by end-2026! Once completed, there will be over 285,000 bicycle lots islandwide. 🚴‍♂️🌱 We hope these additions will improve the cycling experience, especially in areas with high demand. We’ll continue to review and expand bicycle parking facilities at key transport nodes to better support first-and-last-mile journeys. ✨ 💡 Pro tip: Can’t find a lot? Use the MyTransport app to locate alternative bicycle parking nearby! #Reminder Cyclists should park their bicycles responsibly in designated bicycle parking facilities. This helps keep walkways clear and ensures pedestrian access to shared public spaces. We will continue to conduct regular checks to manage indiscriminate parking and remove abandoned bicycles to keep our facilities well-maintained.
