Update PKHeX-NX v0.9.5 — QoL sprint: version display, graceful quit, one-tap Max IVs (native Switch SV save editor) Hey everyone! Midweek update for PKHeX-NX, the 100% native Switch Pokémon SV save editor (no PC required): **v0.9.5 is live:** \- Version display on the main menu (know exactly which build you're running) \- [ZL\] on main menu = graceful quit (clean exit, no hung processes) \- [ZL\] in slot editor = one-tap Max IVs (31s) for breeding/competitive prep \- Docs corrected: rollback is [R\] on main menu (v0.9.4 notes had a [ZL\] typo — fixed everywhere) Safety architecture unchanged: byte-verified SD backup before every write, dual-file commit, one-button rollback. Offline/educational project as always. GitHub: https://github.com/cbreezy210/PKHeX-NX Docs: https://www.gamebrew.org/wiki/PKHeX-NX Feedback, bug reports, and feature votes welcome in GitHub Discussions/Issues. ACNH Save Editor just passed 400 downloads in 4 weeks — thank you! (And what's coming next) Hey r/SwitchHacks! Four weeks ago I posted v1.0 of my native ACNH save editor, honestly not sure anyone would care about a save editor that runs entirely on the Switch. This week the project crossed **400+ downloads of v1.4.0** (and nearly 700 across all versions) between GitHub and GameBanana. I'm a little blown away. Thank you. **Quick recap for anyone new:** ACNH Save Editor is a 100% native Switch homebrew (C++/SDL2) that edits your New Horizons save *on the console* — no PC, no dumping, no emulators. Wallet, Bank, Miles, Loan, pocket items, a paginated A–Z Favorites menu, and a searchable 13,000+ item database. It auto-backs up your save before every single write, and ZL rolls back if you ever change your mind. **What YOUR feedback changed in 4 weeks:** \- v1.2–v1.3: Native Item Search and the expanded UI panel — requested in these very threads \- v1.4: Paginated Favorites, embedded Homebrew icon, and the Applet Mode Guard (which now explains on-screen exactly how to relaunch correctly, because someone's comment told me users were getting stuck) \- v1.5 (in development right now): **Room Decorations Injector** — born directly from a community request \- v1.6: literally up to a community vote (link below) **The numbers, because they're really yours:** \- 400+ downloads of v1.4.0 in its first two weeks \- \~10,000 combined views across my release threads here and on r/HomebrewSwitch \- 1,700+ views and 169 downloads on GameBanana \- 14 GitHub stars across my two homebrew projects \- One very tired, very grateful developer **What's next:** \- v1.5.0: Room Decorations Injector (furniture, wallpapers, flooring — directly into your rooms) \- v1.6.0: YOUR call — Stalk Market Assistant vs DIY Recipe Unlocker. Vote in the GitHub Discussion poll \- A Discord server for support, showcases, and beta testing is coming soon **Links:** \- GitHub: https://github.com/cbreezy210/ACNH-Save-Editor \- Install guide: https://www.gamebrew.org/wiki/ACNH\_Save\_Editor\_Switch \- v1.6 poll: https://github.com/cbreezy210/ACNH-Save-Editor/discussions/3 Thank you for downloading, commenting, bug-reporting, and requesting features. This project only exists because this community shows up. And as always: keep your backups, and keep edited islands offline. 🍃 — cbreezy210 https://redd.it/1wd17zo @r_SwitchHacks

Switch WiFi in Monitor mode with Ubuntu and Nexmon Nintendo switch has the WIFI adapter BCM4356 which can be patched with nexmon that should allow to use it in monitor mode. I was able to install kubuntu 5.1.2 L4T Ubuntu Noble 24.04 and patch the firmware and driver with nexmon (https://github.com/seemoo-lab/nexmon) and now it is possible to use the wireless in monitor mode. Well, at least that is what looks like.it is possible to put the WiFi in Monitor mode or even create an additional interface in monitor mode. But when using airodump-ng or tcpdump or wireshark, it does now show any BSSID. It is almost like the WiFi adapter can't see any network, completely empty, iw dev scan works fine but no dumps. I tried preload libnexmon with LD_PRELOAD, I tried everything. This works fine in raspberry that has the same WiFi card, but no success with Nintendo Switch. Anyone has any idea? Would be very cool to be able to do that with a Nintendo Switch. The follow commands works fine: iw phy `iw dev wlp1s0 info | gawk '/wiphy/ {printf "phy" $2}'` interface add mon0 type monitor Or even ip link set wlp1s0 down iw dev wlan0 set type monitor ip link set wlp1s0 up Even airmon-ng start wlp1s0 It says unknown error 524 but it does create the extra monitoring interface But airodump-ng does not show any network Any ideas? https://redd.it/1w8fkh5 @r_SwitchHacks

Mupen64Plus/retroarch Compatibility list for the Switch with Overclock enable. We just got a update from the Libretto team that now includes overclock modes in retroarch for the switch .So I thought I make a compatibility list for games that runs well with the required overclock settings for Mupen64Plus aka N64 emulator-please feel free to add games and the overclock setting you used. Overclock at your own your risk. There have been a lot of comments about the inaccurate of these games I posted up.I ran these games on the exact overclock settings you see below.I’am running 6.0.0 and I am using SX pro if that matters and my install is a NSP file -u can find that below. I am running retroach in xmb mode. I am using the retroach nightie dated 12-2 Retroarch Nsp https://mega.nz/#!ONJRHK5Q!Ofm-7CfJIkVyaFQ8sFDPetAA0b8jFS5rz9iy9yBnI Tips: Mupen64Plus needs a bit more juice for most games. In addition, turn off framebuffer emulation in the core settings. Make sure threaded video is on. Retroarch 1.7.5 with overclock for the Switch new overclock update- improved faster frame rate!! Custom screens either directly on internal MIPI?, or modifying Dock output requirements? Long story short, i have a project going on where i will be "reshelling" either a V2 or Oled motherboard into another formfactor, (look up sony vaio UX, i got a few dead one's here, and want to shove an entire switch into it) try to hand rewire everything to be as small as possible and have a custom keyboard and inputs and all that, Essentially an cyberdeck powered by a switch motherboard, since the switch's price to performance ratio is insane compared to rasberry pi/latte panda and such, i am having a dilemma when it comes to screens, the best method would be connecting an custom screen to the internal MIPI screen connector, This would easily bypass the annoyance of getting USB C video out working without a dock or power, besides super7/super5, i have found no talk or references on if it's possible to get an custom screen working on the Switch, sadly taki udon is only profit focussed and does not care about the modding community, so he will not provide info, i have rough pinout's of the LCD connector,(but not 100% sure) but as demonstrated with steamdecks. it's not just as simple as "connecting an compatible screen" and it works.. MIPI is sadly no EDP/DP/HDMI, i have found a few MIPI to HDMI converters. that i could use to "spoof" the Switch screen and then MAYBE get a 720p output, but unsure, Does anyone here have any insight in what it could possibly take to get a custom LCD panel working on the MIPI connector of the switch? the alternative would be purchasing a cheap chinese close Dock and getting that working, but then i have another potential issue, can we get custom screen resolutions working on the dock with modded switches? say 480x854 for example? Maybe an way to not require USB c PD for the dock to work? like just using USB-C to DP/HDMI? In L4T and android, we can just use a usb C to DP/HDMI dongle and it works, but on HOS you need stupid dock auth stuff and then also supply power to the switch itself, in theory it should be patchable, but i aint a programmer. i just solder wires lol, Ideally i want to fully bypass the power supply requirement of HOS to have display out on the switch v2/oled, i have found multiple ways where i can supply the switch with infinite stable power without the need of a battery or usb c as power, Much thanks in advance for any info or insight, if you got any tips or suggestions, even if it MAY seem "weird" just toss them, it might just be the solution to something ;) https://redd.it/1w6lxak @r_SwitchHacks

JoyConBench: a web-based Joy-Con tester and color configuration tool I wanted a simple way to test and configure joy-cons without installing a desktop app, so I made JoyConBench: a browser-based tool for the original Switch joy-cons. https://github.com/reubenjds/joyconbench The app can change the joy-con body and button colors that appear in the Switch UI, so custom shell colors can be reflected on the console. It also has a test suite for testing buttons, sticks, motion, rumble, LEDs, and connection. JoyConBench also supports settings backup/restore. Backups are much faster than with other tools because it only backs up the settings it actually needs instead of backing up the joy-con's entire internal memory. Everything runs locally through WebHID in your browser (Chrome/Edge). Hosted here: https://reubenjds.github.io/joyconbench/ Feedback and bug reports are welcome :) https://redd.it/1vzbtmm @r_SwitchHacks
