In Ashma village, residents reportedly handed over militants accused of targeting Syrian army personnel to internal security forces, with footage of the handover circulating online. Syrian army special forces and internal security units have reportedly ended the incident involving PKK militants in the villages of Al-Awina and Ashma in the Kobani countryside, with arrests made and roads reopened.

Syrian security forces came under attack in the Kobani province on Tuesday.
