«I live not in myself, but I become Portion of that around me; and to me High mountains are a feeling, but the hum Of human cities torture: I can see Nothing to loathe in nature, save to be A link reluctant in a fleshly chain, Class'd among creatures, when the soul can flee, And with the sky, the peak, the heaving plain Of ocean, or the stars, mingle, and not in vain». -Lord Byron, Childe Harold's Pilgrimage, Canto III.

The principle of the conservation of energy involves inevitably eternal recurrence.

True leadership is possessing so much value, an overflowing inner richness, an energetic will to say nay, competence and confidence that not only does peer pressure from the herd not alter your course, but pressure from you can single-handedly alter the course of the entire herd. and hence it is measured by the degree of resistance that the will exerts for the preservation of its integrity and independence.

'A full and powerful soul not only copes with painful, even terrible losses, deprivations, robberies, insults; it emerges from such hells with a greater fullness and powerfulness; and, most essential of all, with a new increase in the blissfulness of love. I believe that he who has divined something of the most basic conditions for this growth in love will understand what Dante meant when he wrote over the gate of his Inferno: "I, too, was created by eternal love".' — F.W. Nietzsche, The Will to Power, §1030.

The lyrics are an excerpt from Dante Alighieri's “Divine Comedy” (Paradiso-Canto II): (Dante : Towards the Sky) O Ye, who in some pretty little boat, Eager to listen, have been following Behind my ship, that singing sails along, Turn back to look again upon your shores; Do not put out to sea, lest peradventure, In losing me, you might yourselves be lost. The sea I sail has never yet been passed; Minerva breathes, and pilots me Apollo, And Muses nine point out to me the Bears.
