| 2 | How do you let go of the fear of buying during a dip?
Every single time that we are at the peak of a bull run, I tell myself, "I should have bought way more over the last bear market."
But when I see the dip, I can't help but feel a little fear. My intellect says to go all in, but the fear keeps me from buying all I want.
How do you deal with this? Is there something you do to remind yourself that everything will, logically, be okay?

| 5 | Bitcoin in 10-40 years.
Read this and give your thoughts. I know youโre probably wondering wtf does he mean by that title. I had a realization that, I could truly see bitcoin at 1-10 million a coin in that time frame. The creator is obviously gone and not selling at all. If he did sell why DIDENT he sell when his portfolio was 1M, 50million? Even 1 billion and now 100 billion? Not only that 8 billion people in the planet only 21 million will ever exist and 19 million are already out, most are gone forever and most are traded and being held. Now obviously no one knows what could happen in that large time frame but giving that itโs been out for what 18 years now, I donโt think this is going anywhere but up. Iโm 22 so I have so much time thatโs why I said 10-40 years because if I do hold I plan to sell at the age of 60. But what you guys think of this? Am I crazy? But looking at this I truly see something huge.

I will only receive it May 2027 as it is locked up in a trust kinda thing....

| 8 | How to introduce a friend to the world of finance without seeming like a cryptobro
I was talking with a friend recently who works in finance but had somehow never seriously looked into Bitcoin. Not crypto in general, specifically Bitcoin. When I tried to explain why it matters, I realized how hard it is to compress the core idea into something that lands without sounding like a sales pitch or a lecture.
I started with the fixed supply angle: 21 million, no central authority can change that. Then I moved to censorship resistance, the idea that no one can freeze your Bitcoin or block a transaction. Then I tried the selfcustody angle, being your own bank essentially.
None of it clicked for him until I framed it as a savings technology that removes the trust requirement from money itself. That was the first moment something actually registered.
So I'm curious how others approach this conversation. Do you lead with the scarcity argument, the decentralization angle, the inflation hedge framing, or something else? Does your approach change depending on whether someone comes from a finance background versus someone with no financial background at all?
Would love to hear what has actually worked in real conversations, not the elevator pitch version but the one that genuinely made someone think differently.

After running a Raspberry Pi node at home that died without warning, I moved everything to a bare metal VPS on Contabo. No prepackaged solutions โ just Ubuntu 24, Docker, Bitcoin Core 28.1, LND 0.20.1, and a stack I assembled one by one.
The article covers the full setup including real bitcoin.conf and lnd.conf, SSH hardening, UFW + Fail2ban, channel strategy mistakes (don't open to big nodes โ learned the hard way), ZeroTier private network for monitoring without exposing any public ports, automatic channel.backup redundancy, BOS via Telegram, and LiT for auto fee management.
7 channels live, node visible on Amboss if you want to verify it's not theoretical.

| 11 | Bitcoin is a long game and people don't get it
I used to think Bitcoin was easy money at first when i first got into investing which was like 4ish years ago. After making my first ACTUAL big profit off Bitcoin in 2025, I realized that Bitcoin is a long game and people don't understand that. I didn't even understand that when I first put money in but after months of having my money on a low (I made the mistake of buying when Bitcoin was on a high) I finally cracked the way to fix my portfolio and hope for some growth.
Now it's just a matter of closing my app and waiting for it to grow again and not stress over it.
