Bitcoin is a long game and people don't get it
I used to think Bitcoin was easy money at first when i first got into investing which was like 4ish years ago. After making my first ACTUAL big profit off Bitcoin in 2025, I realized that Bitcoin is a long game and people don't understand that. I didn't even understand that when I first put money in but after months of having my money on a low (I made the mistake of buying when Bitcoin was on a high) I finally cracked the way to fix my portfolio and hope for some growth.
Now it's just a matter of closing my app and waiting for it to grow again and not stress over it.

| 11 | Possible manipulation keeping BTC above 60k
There is no logical way that with all the btc being sold and all the money being pumped into AI and these new IPO's (space x, open ai) that BTC should be holding above 60k. Its becoming clearer to me now that the only way this is possible is that some how the price is being artificially help at this level. Im trying to work out how this would be possible in a free open market but everything I see points to some form of manipulation holding it at 60k. Can anyone share some ideas on how manipulation of this level could be done if at all.

| 12 | How to navigate financial uncertainty
As the title says, I'm not too keen on trusting my country's financial institutions. It's not unheard of for banks to freeze accounts for little or no reason, leaving people with no access to their hard-earned money.
I do keep some savings in fiat, as this subreddit generally recommends, but I'm not particularly interested in allocating much more than I already have. At the same time, with the whole "don't put all your eggs in one basket" mindset, I'm hesitant to go all-in on BTC.
What's the opinion of the more seasoned Bitcoin holders here?

All the Bitcoin holders brag about how Bitcoin is decentralized. How itโs not owned by one person or company. But Satoshi holds over 1 millions coins. If he wanted to, he could wake up one day, sell his coins, and crash the market. It doesnโt matter how long his wallet has been inactive. It doesnโt matter if you think/ assume heโll never do it. At the end of the day, he has the power to & that just goes against decentralization. He not only could cash out and crash Bitcoin, he could crash the entire market. Kind of goes against decentralization when one person holds all the power. I donโt care why he holds that many, I donโt care if you think heโll never sell, the only thing that matters is he has the power to do so.

Last week saw roughly $1.7 billion leave US spot Bitcoin ETFs. At first glance that sounds like the kind of number that should trigger panic, but interestingly several institutional analysts are arguing exactlythe opposite. Their view is that this isn't really a Bitcoin-specific problem at all, it's more of a macro sentiment shock driven by geopolitical tensions, changing rate expectations and a general reduction in risk appetite across markets. According to them, the thesis hasn't changed, only the mood has changed.
If they're right, this looks more like a sentiment event than a structural one. What caught my attention is that markets don't bottom when analysts are right but they bottom when sellers simply run out of reasons to sell.
