#SpiritualTreasures: The thought of having committed a plethora of sins ought not to hold back a sinner from supplication. Prayer is an antidote. Ultimately, such a one will observe how prayers serve to foster within him an aversion towards vice. In the end, those steeped in sin who despair of the acceptance of prayer and do not seek recourse to repentance, lose faith in the Prophets and their effects. (Malfuzat - Volume I, p. 4)
#DailyHadith: Narrated AbdurRahman ibn Uthman: When a physician consulted the Prophet (ﷺ) about putting frogs in medicine, he forbade him to kill them. (Abu Dawud)
#SpiritualTreasures: If the people and past prophets of Israel whose number is millions, had really been brought to life at the time of the crucifixion [of Jesus] and had in fact come back to the city alive, and if this miracle, that hundred of thousands of saints and prophets were all brought to life at the same time, were really shown to prove the truth and divinity of Jesus, the Jews would have had an excellent opportunity to inquire of their prophets, saints, and other ancestors, whether Jesus who claimed to be God was indeed God, or was he a liar! (Jesus in India, p. 46)
#DailyHadith: Abu Qatadah (ra) narrated that while we were sitting in the Masjid. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came out to us carrying Umamah bint Abi Al-'As bin Ar-Rabi', whose mother was Zainab, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). She was a little girl and he was carrying her. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed with her on his shoulder, putting her down when he bowed and picking her up again when he stood up, until he completed his prayer. (Nasai)
#SpiritualTreasures: As indicated in the following verse, trials are necessary: [Arabic] Allah the Exalted declares that those who say: ‘Our Lord is Allah,’ and then remain steadfast, the angels descend upon them (Quran, 29:3). The commentators of the Holy Quran have erred in their belief that the angels descend only when a person is struggling through his last breaths—this is not true. In actuality, those who cleanse their hearts and keep their souls free from filth and impurity—which distance a person from Allah—develop the capacity to receive revelation, and then actually do receive it as well. (Malfuzat - Volume I, p. 14-15)
#DailyHadith: Narrated Ibn `Umar: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "None of you should try to pray at sunrise or sunset." (Bukhari)
#SpiritualTreasures: O elders of Islam, may God Almighty inspire your hearts with greater good intentions than the rest of the people, and may He, in this time of crisis, make you true servants of His beloved faith. It is only for the sake of Allah that I hereby inform you of the important fact that at the turn of this fourteenth century God Almighty has appointed me from Himself for the revival and support of the true faith of Islam, so that in this tumultuous age I should proclaim the excellences of the Holy Quran and the greatness of the Holy Prophetsa, and—with the help of the light, blessings, miracles and Divine knowledge that have been bestowed upon me—I should respond to all the enemies who are attacking Islam. (Blessings of Prayer, p. 55)
#DailyHadith: A'isha reported: We the family of Muhammad (ﷺ) used to spend (the whole) month in which we (did not need to) kindle the fire as (we had nothing to cook) ; we had only dates and water (to fill our bellies). (Muslim)
#SpiritualTreasures: Friends! Know for certain that a righteous person is never ruined. When two parties fall to conflict and their disagreement becomes great, support from heaven descends for the one God Almighty sees as righteous and virtuous. In this way religious disputes are settled through heavenly decree. (A Hidden Truth, p. 4)
#DailyHadith: Narrated Hudhaifa: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood among us (to give us an address) and he left out nothing that would happen up to the last hour without telling of it. Some remembered it and some forgot, and these Companions of his have known it. When something of it which I have forgotten happens, I remembered it, just as a man remembers another's face when he is a away and recognizes him when he sees him. (Tirmidhi)
#SpiritualTreasures: Addressing me in a general sense, God had said: [Arabic] Meaning that: "I shall humiliate him who designs to humiliate you". This prophecy has been fulfilled against hundreds of my enemies. This book is not enough to accommodate all the details. A great many of these people remarked about me, "He is an impostor and will die of the plague", but through God’s power, they themselves died of the plague. There are a great many who put forth their "revelation" that God had informed them [about me] that this man would die soon. Glory be to God that they themselves died shortly after such of their ‘revelations’. Still others had prayed against me that I may soon die, but they themselves died very soon thereafter. (Haqiqatul Wahi - The Philosophy of Divine Revelation, p. 428)
#DailyHadith: Usama b. Zaid reported that Allah's Messenger (way peace be upon him) said: I stood at the door of Paradise and I found that the overwhelming majority of those who entered therein was that of poor persons and the wealthy persons were detained to get into that. The denizens of Hell were commanded to get into Hell, and I stood upon the door of Fire and the majority amongst them who entered there was that of women. (Muslim)
#SpiritualTreasures: Bear in mind that the miraculous life of one righteous person evidences greater proof of the existence of God Almighty than the [entire] heavens and the earth insofar as no one has ever seen God cre- ating the heavens and the earth with His own hand. (Barahin-e-Ahmadiyya - Part Five, p. 56)
#DailyHadith: Narrated Ibn 'Umar: Ibn 'Umar narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever calls his brother a disbeliever then it [disbeliefi] will have settled upon one of them." (Tirmidhi)
#SpiritualTreasures: "Be not afraid of the curses of the world, for they shall vanish before your eyes like smoke and cannot turn day into night. Fear instead the curse of God which descends from heaven and uproots its victims in both worlds. You cannot save yourselves with hypocrisy, for your God is He who sees the innermost depth of man. Can you then deceive Him? So become straightforward, clean, pure and truthful. If even a particle of darkness is left within you, it will dispel all your light. And if you possess even the slightest arrogance, hypocrisy, self-conceit or sloth, you are not worthy of being accepted." (Noah's Ark, p. 22)
#DailyHadith: Narrated Abu Hurairah: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever takes a path upon which to obtain knowledge, Allah makes the path to Paradise easy for him." (Tirmidhi)
#SpiritualTreasures: The demands of faith are that a person seeks their own reformation from Allah the Exalted, while employing their own strength. It is narrated in a Hadith that Allah Almighty does not disregard the prayer of a person who raises their hands with firm faith. And so, beg of God, and implore him with firm faith and sincere resolve. (Malfuzat - Volume I, p. 142)
#DailyHadith: It was narrated that 'Arfajah said, 'We visited 'Utbah bin Farqad (when he was ill) and we talked about the month of Ramadan. He said, 'What are you talking about?' We said: 'The month of Ramadan.' He said, 'I heard the Messenger of Allah say, "In it the gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of the Fire are closed, and the devils are chained up, and a caller calls out every night: O doer of good, proceed; O doer of evil, desist!"' (Nasai)
#SpiritualTreasures: Man's seeking help from God is not a fiction or absurdity or without firm basis in fact. It is an eternal truth that it has ever been the way of the Noble Lord Who is truly the Sustainer of the Universe and Who is, in reality, the propelling power running this vessel, that He lends His support to those who, rating themselves as unworthy and humble, seek it in their undertakings, with the recitation of His name. By turning to Him, in genuine humility and spirit of submissiveness, they partake of His succour. (Commentary on The Holy Quran Vol. 1 Surah Fatihah, p. 34-35)
#DailyHadith: Narrated 'Aisha (ra) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) came while a woman was sitting with me. He said, "Who is she?" I replied, "She is so and so," and told him about her (excessive) praying. He said disapprovingly, "Do (good) deeds which is within your capacity (without being overtaxed) as Allah does not get tired (of giving rewards) but (surely) you will get tired and the best deed (act of Worship) in the sight of Allah is that which is done regularly." (Bukhari)
