#SpiritualTreasures: It is a self evident truth that different elements have different properties. When the specific property of something has been verified by repeated experiments, can denying it be called anything other than madness or insanity. The greatest folly, however, is to deny the attributes and acts of God Almighty. (BarĀhĪn-e-aHmadiyya — Part three, p. 35)
#SpiritualTreasures: It is only through the pure fountain of Islam that man is led to the Living God; and the artificial 'God', who lies buried in Srinagar (Mohallah Khanyar), Kashmir, can be of no avail to anyone. (Fountain of Christianity, p. 5)
#DailyHadith: Narrated Mu`adh bin Jabal: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O Mu`adh! Do you know what Allah's Right upon His slaves is?" I said, "Allah and His Apostle know best." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "To worship Him (Allah) Alone and to join none in worship with Him (Allah). Do you know what their right upon Him is?" I replied, "Allah and His Apostle know best." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Not to punish them (if they do so). (Bukhari)
#SpiritualTreasures: All the virtuous deeds performed by a person may be divided into two categories: obligatory and voluntary. Obligatory deeds refer to that which is compulsory on man, such as the repayment of a debt or goodness in kind. In addition to these obligations, every good deed is accompanied by an aspect of voluntary service, that is to say, virtue which is above and beyond the call of duty. An example of this would be for one to reciprocate greater benevolence than that shown to him by another. This serves to complete and perfect compulsory actions. This Hadith expounds that the saints of Allah perfect their religious obligations through the observance of voluntary acts of worship. (Malfuzat - Volume I, p. 12)
#DailyHadith: Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: We counted that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would say a hundred times during a meeting: "My Lord, forgive me and pardon me; Thou art the Pardoning and forgiving One". (Abu Dawud)
#SpiritualTreasures: Another point to bear in mind is that the most appropriate and advisable time for the acquisition of religious education is during the period of childhood. How much can one achieve if they begin to learn the basics of Arabic grammar in old age? Retentive faculties are sharp in childhood. The memory is never as firm in the later stages of one’s life. (Malfuzat – Volume I, p. 68)
#DailyHadith: Narrated Abu Huraira (ra) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The best charity is that which is practiced by a wealthy person. And start giving first to your dependents." (Bukhari)
#SpiritualTreasures: Now another community is that of the Promised Messiah, which is to develop within itself the hue of the companions [of the Holy Prophet]. The companions were a pious community for whom the Quran is full of praise. Are you like them? God says that the people who will accompany the Promised Messiah would stand shoulder to shoulder with the companions. The companions were those who sacrificed their wealth and homeland in the way of truth. (Malfuzat - Volume I, p. 42-43)
#DailyHadith: Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Sa'eed, from his father narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Ghusl (bathing) and using siwak (brushing of teeth) on Fridays are wajib (compulsory) for everyone who has reached the age of puberty, and he should put on whatever he can find of perfume." (Nasai)
#SpiritualTreasures: Think about it: a poor, lonely, and humble person announced the spread of his faith and the establishment of his religion at a time when he had nothing with him except a few devotees without any means; and all the Muslims could fit in one small room and their names could be counted on one’s fingers, and a handful of villagers could have done away with them. The enemies they faced were the kings and rulers of the world; and the nations they had to deal with were made up of tens of millions who were unanimous in their determination to destroy and annihilate them. But now look around the entire globe at how God has spread the same few weak people in the world, and how He bestowed on them power, wealth, and kingdom, and how they were bestowed the crowns and thrones that had been occupied by others for thousands of years. (BarĀhĪn-e-aHmadiyya — Part three, p. 173-74)
#DailyHadith: Narrated Ibn `Abbas (ra) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "There are two blessings which many people lose: Health and free time" (Bukhari)
#SpiritualTreasures: Thus physical injuries disclose that there is a mysterious relationship between the soul and the body which is beyond the ken of man. (The Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam, p. 11)
#DailyHadith: It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to like to start in the right. He would accept with his right hand and give with his right hand, and he liked to start on the right in all his affairs." (Nasai)
#SpiritualTreasures: Islam has made no distinction between men and women in acts of virtue, nor have they been prohibited from being like men in goodness. (Malfuzat – Volume II, p. 165)
#DailyHadith: Narrated 'Urwa: Aisha used to recommend at-Talbina for the sick and for such a person as grieved over a dead person. She used to say, "I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, 'at-Talbina gives rest to the heart of the patient and makes it active and relieves some of his sorrow and grief.'" (Bukhari)
#SpiritualTreasures: Every adulterer, transgressor, drunkard, murderer, thief, gambler, deceiver, bribe-taker, usurper, tyrant, liar, forger and those who sit amongst them, and everyone who slanders his brothers or sisters and does not repent of his foul deeds, and does not abstain from evil company, is not of my community. (Our Teaching, p. 11)
#DailyHadith: Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri (ra) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah never sends a prophet or gives the Caliphate to a Caliph but that he (the prophet or the Caliph) has two groups of advisors: A group advising him to do good and exhorts him to do it, and the other group advising him to do evil and exhorts him to do it. But the protected person (against such evil advisors) is the one protected by Allah.' " (--)
#SpiritualTreasures: My mission is heavenly in nature and divine work cannot be frustrated. In this undertaking I have no vested interests and my own efforts amount to nothing. (Malfuzat - Volume I, p. 8)
#DailyHadith: Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (ra) said, "I asked the Prophet, (ﷺ), which action Allah loves best. He replied, 'Prayer at its proper time.' 'Then what?' I asked. He said, 'Then kindness to parents." I asked, 'Then what?' He replied, 'Then jihad in the Way of Allah.'" He added, "He told me about these things. If I had asked him to tell me more, he would have told me more." (Al-Adab)
#SpiritualTreasures: The sun which rose from among the Arabs illuminated every people and shined its light on every village. It is the sole pride of the Noble Quran alone that it has the ability to reign supreme over all the other world religions in the matter of God’s Unity and prophethood. It is a matter of pride for the Muslims that they have been granted such a book. Those who attack the teachings of Islam and level allegations against its teaching and guidance do so only out of their own benighted nature and lack of faith. (Malfuzat – Volume II, p. 4)
