#DailyHadith: Narrated Abu Humaid As-Saidi: We accompanied the Prophet (ﷺ) in the Ghazwa of Tabuk and the king of 'Aila presented a white mule and a cloak as a gift to the Prophet. And the Prophet (ﷺ) wrote to him a peace treaty allowing him to keep authority over his country. (Bukhari)

#SpiritualTreasures: Be careful lest a few accomplishments delude you to think that you have sufficiently fulfilled your purpose. For God desires a complete transformation in your being and He demands from you a death whereafter He should revive you. Hasten to make peace with one another and forgive your brethren their sins. For he who is not inclined to make peace with his brother is wicked and will be cut off, because he is the cause of dissension. Part with your ego in every way and do away with mutual grievances. Be humble like the guilty, though truth be on your side, so that you may be forgiven. Do not feed your vanity, for those who are bloated cannot enter the gate to which you have been called. (Noah's Ark, p. 22)

#DailyHadith: Sa`d reported that on the Day of Uhud I saw on the right side of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and on his left side two persons dressed in white clothes and whom I did not see before nor after that, and they were Gabriel and Michael (Allah be pleased with both of them). (Muslim)

#SpiritualTreasures: If one should contemplate the meanings that are incorporated in the word nusuk, and should deliberate on it with deep reflection and an open mind, and study it from every vantage point with open eyes, then it will not be hidden from him nor will any doubt remain in his mind that the two meanings that the word nusuk shares, point to this secret that the service which delivers a person from loss in the next life is really the slaughtering of the nafs al-ammarah (the spirit that commands evil) which embodies an overwhelming passion for evil deeds. (Khutba Ilhamiyya, The Revealed Sermon, p. --)

#DailyHadith: Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If a woman gives something (i.e. in charity) from her husband's earnings without his permission, she will get half his reward." (Bukhari)

#SpiritualTreasures: The Arabic word for alms (Sadaqah) is derived from a root (sidq) that means sincerity. If the heart is not inspired by sincerity in bestowing alms, the almsgiving ceases to be alms and becomes mere display. That is why those who exercise benevolence have been admonished by God Almighty [2:265] not to render vain their benevolence by reproaches or injury. (The Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam, p. 64)

#DailyHadith: Jabir bin 'Abdullah (ra) narrated "In his Khutbah (of Eid) the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to praise Allah as He deserves to be praised, then he would say: 'Whomsoever Allah (SWT) guides, none can lead him astray, and whomsoever Allah sends astray, none can guide. The truest of word is the Book of Allah and best of guidance is the guidance of Muhammad. The worst of things are those that are invented (in religion i.e Bida'at بدعات); because every newly-invented thing (in religion) is Biddah and every innovation is going astray, and every going astray leads to Fire.' (Nasai)

#SpiritualTreasures: O seeker of insight, know that it is obligatory on one who addresses himself to the recitation of the Fatiha or the Furqan (the Holy Quran), to seek protection against Satan as has been laid down in the Quran. Satan sometimes sneaks into the preserve of Allah like a thief and invades the sanctuary that safeguards the innocent. Allah, therefore, determined to shield His servants from the onslaughts of the subtle whisperer of evil, while they recite the Fatiha and the Word of the Lord of mankind, and to defend them with His own weapon and fix the axe squarely on his head and rescue the unwary from their state of unawareness. (Commentary on The Holy Quran Vol. 1 Surah Fatihah, p. 23)

#DailyHadith: Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Mu'alla: While I was praying, the Prophet (ﷺ) called me but I did not respond to his call. Later I said, "O Allah's Apostle! I was praying." He said, "Didn't Allah say: 'O you who believe! Give your response to Allah (by obeying Him) and to His Apostle when he calls you'?" (8.24) He then said, "Shall I not teach you the most superior Surah in the Qur'an?" He said, '(It is), 'Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. ' (i.e., Surat Al-Fatiha) which consists of seven repeatedly recited Verses and the Magnificent Qur'an which was given to me." (Bukhari)

#SpiritualTreasures: The explanation for their ineffectiveness [in using dry logic to persuade hearts] is that for any discourse to impact the heart it is necessary that its truth should be so well established in the mind of the listener that he should not be left with any room for doubt, and he should believe from the depth of his heart that what he is being told is not susceptible to any possibility of error. (BarĀhĪn-e-aHmadiyya — Part Four, p. 71)

#DailyHadith: Narrated `Abdullah: I heard a man reciting a verse (of the Holy Qur'an) but I had heard the Prophet (ﷺ) reciting it differently. So, I caught hold of the man by the hand and took him to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) who said, "Both of you are right." Shu`ba, the sub-narrator said, "I think he said to them, "Don't differ, for the nations before you differed and perished (because of their differences)." (Bukhari)

#SpiritualTreasures: The Unity of God, His attributes, prophethood, lofty morals, the perfection of the inner self, etc., and everything else that man requires have been expounded by Islam so perfectly and lucidly that no lengthy debates are needed in this respect. Other matters that relate to how the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, ate and what size his morsels were, are debates in which a believer has no need to engage. Salvation does not depend on these matters. Such matters which have been transmitted to us in the form of written narrations ought to be accepted if they are consistent with the true nature of prophethood and do not oppose it, otherwise, they should be interpreted in an appropriate manner. There is no need to engage in lengthy and useless debates on this, that and the other. (Malfuzat – Volume II, p. 7)

#DailyHadith: Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to like starting from the right in performing ablution, combing his hair and putting on his shoes. (Bukhari)

#SpiritualTreasures: Islam is a benefactor for other religions because it vindicated every Prophet and divine scripture of the past. But despite this, Islam is abused. (Malfuzat - Volume I, p. 7)

#DailyHadith: It was narrated that Anas said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Whoever prays as we pray, turns to face the same Qiblah as us and eats our slaughtered animals, that is a Muslim.'" (Nasai)

#SpiritualTreasures: The opponents of Islam might object that admitting the superiority of the holy Quran over all divine Scriptures would perforce mean that other scriptures are inferior; but how can they be inferior when they are the Word of the same God. how can there be any question of supe- riority and inferiority between them. The answer is that, as far as their divine origin is concerned, all the scriptures are equal; however, some are superior to others in terms of the degree and perfection to which they elaborate the principles of faith. Thus it is that the holy Quran enjoys superiority over all other scriptures. (Barahin-e-Ahmadiyya—Parts I & II, p. 89)

#DailyHadith: It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The first thing for which a person will be brought to account will be his Salah. If it is complete (all well and good), otherwise Allah will say: 'Look and see if My slave did any voluntary prayer.' If he is found to have done voluntary prayers, his obligatory prayers will be completed therewith." (Nasai)

#SpiritualTreasures: The Promised Messiah categorically said, and also gave instructions in writing, that any teacher in our school who has the habit of hitting children and does not refrain from this inappropriate action should be dismissed immediately. (Malfuzat – Volume II, p. 182)

#SpiritualTreasures: "I have been asked why I claim to be the Promised Messiah. Let me tell you, in all truth, that through perfect obedience to this Prophet [Muhammad], a person can be exalted above Jesus. The blind ones call this infidelity. I retort: How do you know what infidelity is when you yourselves are without faith! Infidelity is within you. You would not have been guilty of uttering such heresy had you known the meaning of the verse: 'Guide us along the straight path, the path of those upon whom Thou has bestowed Thy favours' [Quran, 1:6-7]. God promises that through perfect obedience to the Holy Prophet you can acquire all the various excellences of the Prophets, and you think that to acquire the excellences of just one Prophet is heresy! (The Essence of Islam Vol. 4, p. 71-72)
