#DailyHadith: A'isha reported: When revelation descended upon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) even during the cold days, his forehead perspired. (Muslim)

#SpiritualTreasures: Let my community grieve, more than anything else, over whether they possess righteousness or not. (Malfuzat - Volume I, p. 35)

#DailyHadith: Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As: I used to write everything which I heard from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). I intended (by it) to memorise it. The Quraysh prohibited me saying: Do you write everything that you hear from him while the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) is a human being: he speaks in anger and pleasure? So I stopped writing, and mentioned it to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He signalled with his finger to hia mouth and said: Write, by Him in Whose hand my soul lies, only right comes out from it. (Abu Daud)

#SpiritualTreasures: Muhaddathin are people who are honoured with Divine revelation and, in their inner power, bear a strong resemblance to the inner power of Prophets. These special qualities serve as the lasting signs of Prophethood, so that the profound question of revelation should not at one time lose its credence and become a mere myth. It is wrong to believe that Prophets passed away from the world leaving behind no one to inherit their blessings, and that to talk about them is no more than telling old tales. (Blessings of Prayer, p. 37)

#DailyHadith: Ka'b bin 'Ujrah (ra) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "There are some words, the reciters of which will never be disappointed. These are: Tasbih [saying 'Subhan-Allah'], thirty-three times, Tahmid [saying 'Al-hamdu lillah'] thirty-three times and Takbir [saying 'Allahu Akbar'] thirty-four times; and these should be recited after the conclusion of every prescribed prayer." (Muslim)

#SpiritualTreasures: Do my Jama‘at and myself not solemnly pronounce ‘I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah, and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger’? Do I or my followers not observe the prescribed prayer? Do we not fast in Ramadan? Do we not follow the rules and articles of faith laid down by the Holy Prophetsa? I swear by God that I and my followers are Muslims and have firm faith in the Holy Prophet and the Holy Qur’an, as is incumbent on all true Muslims. (Lecture Ludhiana, p. 16)

#DailyHadith: Narrated Usama bin Zaid: That the Prophet (ﷺ) used to take him (i.e. Usama) and Al-Hassan (in his lap) and say: "O Allah! Love them, as I love them." (Bukhari)

#SpiritualTreasures: You should also consider that it is God’s eternal and established law that He forgives in response to repentance and penitence, and hears the prayers of His righteous servants which are offered by way of intercession. But we never observe in the Divine law of nature that 'A' hits his own head with a stone and this cures the headache of 'B'. We are, therefore, at a loss to understand how people can acquire inner purification through the suicide committed by the Messiah. Is there any law or philosophy which can make us understand how the Messiah’s blood could have cleansed the inner impurities of other people? (Fountain of Christianity, p. 18)

#DailyHadith: Umm Qasis, daughter of Mihsan said : I brought my son to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) while I had compressed his uvula for its swelling. He said : Why do you afflict your children by squeezing for a swelling in the uvula ? Apply this Indian aloes wood, for it contain seven types of remedies, among them being a remedy for pleurisy. It is applied through the nose for a swelling of the uvula poured into the side of the mouth for pleurisy. Abu Dawud said : By aloes wood he meant costus. (Abu Dawud)

#SpiritualTreasures: "It goes without saying, that you cannot love two things at the same time: it is not possible for you to love wealth as well as to love Allah. You can love only one of them. Lucky is he who loves Allah. If any of you loves Him and spends his/her wealth in His cause, I am certain that his/her wealth will increase more than that of others, for wealth doesn’t come by itself, rather it comes by Allah’s will. Whoever parts with some of his wealth for the sake of Allah, will surely get it back. But he who loves his wealth and doesn’t serve in the way of Allah as he should, will surely lose his wealth. Do not ever imagine that your wealth comes of your own effort, no, it comes from Allah Almighty. And do not ever imagine that you do a favour to Allah or his Appointed One by offering your money or helping in any other way. Rather it is His favour upon you that he calls you to this service." (Majmuah Ishtaharat Vol. 3, p. 497)

#DailyHadith: Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them) reported Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as having said this: A person should not enter into a transaction when his brother (had already entered into but not finalised), and he should not make proposal of marriage upon the proposal already made by his brother, until he permits it. (Muslim)

#SpiritualTreasures: If the faculty of reasoning is employed, the good or evil of anything becomes manifest from the fruit it bears. Needless for me to discuss the consequences of abusing and reviling the holy Prophets of God, who have been seen and accepted by hundreds and millions of people; there is hardly a people who have not themselves witnessed the outcome of the bitter fruit of such practices. (A Message of Peace, p. 22)

#DailyHadith: Narrated Usamah ibn Sharik: I came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and his Companions were sitting as if they had birds on their heads. I saluted and sat down. The desert Arabs then came from here and there. They asked: Messenger of Allah, should we make use of medical treatment? He replied: Make use of medical treatment, for Allah has not made a disease without appointing a remedy for it, with the exception of one disease, namely old age. (Abu Dawud)

#SpiritualTreasures: It is incumbent for people to remember the hereafter. One ought to be fearful before punishment arrives. [Persian] A man who keeps their sights set on the hereafter is fortunate. (Malfuzat – Volume I, p. 148)

#DailyHadith: Jabir narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Between a servant (of Allah) and disbelief there is the abandonment of prayer". (Abu Dawud)

#SpiritualTreasures: The divine law of God can be likened to a pharmacy. If the pharmacy is unable to dispense medicine for every kind of ailment, then it will not operate for long. So contemplate, is it not true that men are at times confronted with circumstances that compel them towards a second marriage? What use is a divine law that does not contain a solution for all situations? (Noah's Ark, p. 131-32)

#DailyHadith: Anas reported: I never smelt ambergris or musk as fragrant as the fragrance of the body of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and I never touched brocade or silk and found it as soft as the body of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). (Muslim)

#SpiritualTreasures: There is not a single aspect of our religion that is at odds with civility. (Malfuzat - Volume I, p. 6)

#DailyHadith: Anas b. Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: When the supper is brought before you, and it is also the time to say prayer, first take food before saying evening prayer and do not hasten (to prayer, leaving aside the food). (Muslim)

#SpiritualTreasures: The truly virtuous shall drink of a cup tempered with camphor [Quran 76:6]. The reference to camphor means that their hearts will be cleansed of all the burning desires and impure urges of the world. The root of the Arabic word for camphor connotes suppression, or covering up, which means that their illicit emotions will be suppressed and they will become pure hearted and will enjoy the coolness of understanding. Then it is said that they will drink from a spring which they shall cause to gush forth from the earth through their efforts [Quran 76:7]. This indicates a deep mystery of the philosophy of paradise. Let him who has understanding understand it. (The Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam, p. 68-69)
