On how to increase writing speed
There could be multiple reasons why you are writing slowly :
1. You have not revised your basic notes well. Say if there is a question on citizens charter. You have to memorize the intro, body and conclusion. Only then will you be able to write it in under 7/11 minutes.
2. For questions where you do not have any ready made knowledge, you should be able to generate points on the go using frameworks like PESTEL, stakeholder etc. If you do not know what these frameworks are or do not know how to use them, we can conduct a session on the same. DO LET US KNOW!
3. If you have done the above 2 points and are still not able to improve your speed, you lack practice. Write atleast 4 questions a day within the time limit. Initially it will be a problem but then you will be able to manage as time passes.
4. Along with writing, keep brainstorming. Take 10 questions daily and try and brainstorm for their answers in under 1 minute per answer.
Hope this helps. If you need sessions on these commonly asked questions, we can conduct them too.

We are thinking of organizing some sessions with some people from different services to answer your questions on service related matters. Let us know if you would be interested in them. Also we would be uploading these sessions on YouTube as well. | 364 | 0 | 1 | 0 | Loading...

One interesting question also that is being floated around is how to use topper copies? What is it that we need to extract from it?
The most efficient thing to do would be to reverse engineer. Take any topper copy whoever you like. Put their copy onto any platform like chatgpt, claude and ask it to tell you how they approached a particular question, is there any framework/template that they are employing to generate points. Maybe extract out the way they are integrating graphs, diagrams etc in it.
Be cautious of :
1. Over analyzing topper copies
2. Extracting data points, keywords etc. To an extent it is fine but it may become an overkill.
3. Not all topper copies are worth it. Maybe identify the best scoring ones and go through it.
4. Look for copies which are recent and not the older ones.
Keep working till you get your desired rank. Do whatever it takes. | 419 | 8 | 0 | 9 | Loading...
A common question that we are seeing being popped around is since mains is over what should we do next?
1. For people with more than 3 attempts, it is advisable to look for an alternate source of employment be it in the coaching sphere or any other place of your liking
2. Side by side please sit with all the papers and try to assess them individually. Analyse what mistakes you have possibly made, maybe try solving these papers once again with a more liberal time limit.
3. If you were unprepared in any area, make notes on it and start working towards it.
4. Start with current affairs. Either you can read the newspapers daily yourself and make notes. Or you can refer to CA Playground https://upscanalytics.opuslabs.in/knowledge-graph if you want to outsource that task. CA playground covers 2 newspapers daily i.e. Indian Express and the Hindu. Choice is yours but keep abreast with current happenings.
5. Do take some time out with friends and family before jumping back to the preparation.
Hope this helps! | 451 | 1 | 0 | 3 | Loading...
Gentle Reminder - Today is the last date for filing representations for CSM 2026.
Some questions in Maths optional had misprint - e.g the Kinetic energy question.
Please take a few minutes today to file representations for these specific errors, along with any other discrepancies you might have spotted. | 436 | 0 | 1 | 3 | Loading...

Just a friendly reminder to people who will be writing forest mains. Do not take it lightly. It would be a very good fallback option in case something goes amiss in civils. Please pay attention to it. Do not give in to lethargy. The competition in forest is less considering a lot of people writing it become complacent. Use it to your advantage.

Hello friends,
We are thinking of having a session today with Vaidehi Gupta (AIR 219, 373) again today regarding the mains exam that has just gone by. Today's agenda would just be a broad overview of the papers and what you should be doing next. You can also ask about your specific doubts if you have any. It would be relevant for people who appeared this year and also for people willing to appear next year.
So, join in at 9 pm! See you.
