I've been planning how to make this summer more productive, especially for people like me who have many interests and goals. The approach I came up with is simple: organize your life into categories and give each category a level of priority. If you have many interests, don't try to do everything every day. Instead, assign focus areas to different days of the week while keeping a few important habits non-negotiable. ## 🔥 Non-Negotiables (Daily) • Prayer 🙏 • Coding and working on a project every day * Add new features to existing projects * Build new projects * Learn by building, not by endlessly following tutorials • Solve at least one coding problem daily to improve problem-solving skills • Exercise for 30–60 minutes * It doesn't have to be intense * Even light movement and stretching count • Read a book 📚 * Some people consider reading a hobby, but I believe it's powerful enough to be a daily requirement ## ❤️ Health Health is the foundation of everything else. Focus on: • Regular exercise • Eating foods that support your health • Spending less time overthinking and more time taking action * Overthinking has always been one of my biggest challenges • Reducing distractions * Deleting apps like TikTok has done wonders for my focus and attention span * If you don't want to delete them, use app limits to control your usage ## 🧠 Mind Take care of your mental growth. • Reading books • Journaling (not just writing about your day, but reflecting, planning, and thinking clearly) ## 💰 Skills & Money This should get most of your time and energy this summer. Your focus might be: • Coding • Graphic Design • Video Editing • UI/UX Design • Or any other skill you're serious about Ask yourself: "What do I truly want to become?" "What am I naturally curious about?" "What topic could I spend hours learning without getting bored?" Your answers will point you toward the right skill to focus on. ## 🎨 Hobbies Don't forget to enjoy life. Some examples: • Drawing • Sketching • Hiking • Coffee shop hunting ☕ • Learning a new language • Swimming • Anything else you genuinely enjoy If you only have a few interests, that's a dub 🎉 because you'll have more time to focus on your main skill. If you have many interests, spread them throughout the week and give each day a specific focus while keeping your non-negotiables consistent. ## 🌱 Final Thought This summer isn't about being busy all the time. Take breaks. Avoid burnout. Stay consistent. Focus on becoming a little better every day. Make this summer productive, meaningful, and fruitful. One day at a time. 🚀
