BirdWoke up, as I used to everyday, In my head, a Song, it'd stay. Within, a hymn I hear, Alluding all my fear. I set a goal, I set a path, A morning song, one I hath I spread my wings, open them wide, To a path I see, a direction for stride My life's path follows a song, From deep within, to where I long. #SabaInitiative #Life #Direction #Purpose #LifeJourney #FindYourPath #KeepMoving
| 2 | Theater
βSeats are empty, theater is dark,
What's hidden, following the arc?
A path to liberty, there's a way,
Shall I then keep on my play?
Fear and hope, seen as one,
Perhaps one act, then I'll be done.
Where no one is, I set to shine,
In that very light, 'nd tell what's mine.
'Why do you keep acting', asked me a man,
I told him: "To be of what I can".

| 3 | Biruk
I started off, without a formal introduction
I'm Biruk, in poetry, i have admiration
I am a freshman, navigating life,
To where I go, wherever I strife,
Phrases follow, in a rhythmic way,
Some of them go, some others stay
Destiny was my first poem, one I adored most,
then the channel was made, it, being the first post
Some poems make sense, while others do not,
But underneath, they're all but a mere thought
I enjoy Space, and to explore beyond,
Beyond the earth, beyond its hold
I put paintings, in mostly all work,
For art is gold, says the heart-struck : (i love paintings)
After 49 poems, here I am on the 50th,
Saying hellooow to all, along with all my pieces,
Enjoy, relate, what is brought to you,
For poetry is a form that changes your view;
With that, I invite you to my rocket,

| 5 | August
I was no one, I had neither name nor face.
This is a ride. I shall then keep the pace.
Moving through August, it's all but mere seeing,
All remained, yet, I was: nothing.
August came, August to be,
Half way through, a poem I see.
Perhaps last, or first of its kind,
No face, no eyes, in it to be found.
No name, as the winds took care of it,
Is it a game? Perhaps, I might consider playing it.

| 6 | Hero _ 2
Never meet your heroes, Is that what they said?
Yet, I met you, with memories that stayed;
You became a beacon, a light, a guide,
For ever step I took, for every stride;
I met you, my hero, to be,
A quest I took, for you to see;
What they've said is wrong,
In every film, in every song;
I live, to prove of your existence,
A hero, non like the others;
A guiding light, for me to be,
With you, I've seen a birth of a story.

| 7 | Silver Lining
Clouds, home for the rain,
Across the wind, across the air;
Should I sink or float,
or fly high, up with my sinking boat?
Where's the silver line, where's the light?
Where does it lie; where, amidst the plight?
Called it home, afloat in the skies,
Where's the hone of the birds that arise?
Silverline of gold,
all I wish to see,
Not thin, not bold,
Just as it should be

| 8 | Originals
Originals build, originals think,
they are built to think!
Think and act,
On a matter of fact.
Bringing actions to hand,
Them originals, they stand.
Now or never, never or now,
Originals find the middle of the ground.
No time to waste, the time be now,
Act in faith, when all seems be down.
Originate, not first, but with quality,
better products, they ship with sanity.
The more put in, the better I see,
Originals think. Originals, be.

| 9 | Fear
Fear is a joy killer,
Fear, to it's bearer;
To those two eyes,
Brings dismay, in disguise;
An uncontrollable feat,
One bears defeat;
Always on the lookout,
Always on the hurry,
For what might not go wrong,
All but the ordinary;
In the streets, the halls,
Strikes within, strikes the bones;
Fear takes all away,
Freedom falls, the bearer turns awry;
Fear, kills joy, my dear,
Do fear, it, fear.

| 10 | Talk
So and so, he spoke nonstop,
I listen, but my head will soon pop
Information, all coming my way
Do I leave, do I want to stay?
Words after words, he went on and on,
On and on I went, my sanity, soon be gone
"Talk back", "talk what," I say.
I heard all, listened to none, per se.

| 11 | Mirror
Paddle through the metal,
fight, one that's fatal
Two opponents, one arena,
A moral obscurity, a moral dilemma
Two opponents, and an upfront mirror,
They fight, strive for the winner
Quietness, silence to the bearer,
If a tool,
would make one think of himself as better
Argument, in-between thoughts,
A fight it could be,
One that forever enrolls
What better is there to find a middle ground,
One for the mirror and I,
One we could have had found.

| 13 | Electricity
Electricity, who would bear your halt?
No one is blamed, it's no one's fault.
Day and night, night & day,
I long to see light, Perhaps it might stay.
What can I do, with my battery drained,
To think, or to be, I'd then choose instead.
The former makes allies,
and enemies as well,
For it's a fight of thoughts,
some I can not tell.
The latter, outdoors, I seek to be,
Outdoors? what more need I then see?
Grab a walk and let go of the Pain,
Electricity's gone, yet here I am, to be, on my way.

| 14 | Rain
Fall, through the wind, the haul,
Earth, a place to be,
a land, for my fall
Ablaze, across and beyond,
For what I know,
Everything's but a mere thought
Clouds, flashing with light and sound,
All go past a drop, a drop past the bound
Hit the floor, to splash and fly,
Had it been fate, had it been all mine?
The sky, once home to me,
Cleared out, with the sun's glory
I rose back, floating anew,
Past the ground, among the few
Sun's light, guiding my way,
In a cloud that formed, I went awry

| 16 | RenΓ©
The fallen, the Vanquished,
The dismissed, the deceased,
I RenΓ© have Seen all,
In the war, comrades fall...
It rained dust and mud,
No colors seen, no sound was heard
Metals flying in the air,
Is life truly fair?
One hit my shoulder,
I slammed and fell right by the boulder
No sky, no sun,
All I knew, all be done.
βTill a dog came to rescue, what it'd found,
dragged me in, to a safer ground.
A lady approached, treating my wound,
For the care I saw, there as she stood
That very moment changed my life,
To be better, for one I strife.
Years later, we stood together, all in one piece,
The dog, Georgette, I, in A pictorial brief.
Modified depiction of a true story

| 17 | Yours, mine
The starry night, stares at me, and I stare at it,
hoping one of us would go free
In the starry night, in the nighty stars,
will I find what's that mine yet yours?
I wonder to constellate the dots,
A story to be, of mine, of yours.
Seen at night, but not in the day,
A starry night, I call, but it then went away.
The moon covered in swirls and turns,
With stars, we're made, of stars on Earth.
Whichever way I look, whichever way I turn,
All I see is an echo of your beauty, of your horizon,
I could only give you my heart, pray you'd be mine,
Starry night, there in my heart, brighter, you shine.
Starry night, stream and shine,
Though could it be you, the echoes of mine?
Good enough to be your painting, hung on the wall,
Of mine, of yours, when shall I answer your call?

| 18 | Sit
When I was a kid, I used to run,
Run all day, run towards the sun;
Tirelessly, I used to run,
Looking for a journey, wanting to have fun;
Occasions, I remember, setting the breezy air,
To the number of flowers, those I could forever smell;
I ran fast, I run high,
And the colors of the sun, my home, would never die;
But then... I stopped to hear my mom's call,
'A big future, ahead of you, you should sit and fall'
Sit? I asked, why, mother?
'For you to settle in a dream that's utter,
Like him and his wife,
Sit and enjoy life;
For the seated one, there's a bigger door,
To opportunities one would forever adore.'
And those were the words that stood by,
An emblem it became, to sit, on the waves, to lie.

| 19 | Acumen
Into the ocean, I dived,
Acumen, shaded under the blue light;
Fish, swim and swirl back and forth,
The conscious mind, one who adores;
The past shaping the future,
Light, brought by a divine architecture;
The ground, filled with dust and rug,
Appeal sense, drowning the light, a conscious bug;
Perception, perceives a thought,
A fish astray, one day it may be caught
The ocean, a land of thought,
Fish, swim, in judgement they bought

| 20 | Light
December 17, 2024
One contains space in time,
A depiction in a single rhyme;
The fuel lingers inside,
Bottled and kept in hide
Depiction is an art,
Indistinguishable from one's thought.
Letting out the light, let out the light,
One, only kept it out o' one's sight;
To color with ease,
Through the fires, a canvas that frees β in the light's breeze
