German federal prosecutors have charged Ukrainian national Serhii Kuznietsov with being an accomplice to the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline attacks, which were classified as war crimes. Prosecutors claim that Kuznietsov was "acting on behalf" of the Ukrainian government, in order to permanently halt Russian gas deliveries, the revenues of which were being used to fund their invasion of Ukraine. Kuznietsov was allegedly the lead coordinator a team of saboteurs who used a sailing yacht to place explosives on the pipelines in September 2022. At the time, he was an officer of the Ukrainian Army. The Ukrainian government had denied involvement in the attacks shortly afterwards. Zelensky said that it was "too early" to comment on the charges, as he had "not officially received any details". Wolfgang Buchner, the Deputy Spokesperson of the German government, stated that Germany would continue to support Ukraine with military aid "as long as necessary", regardless of the results of this process.

Slightly further south, Russian forces also carried out successful infiltrations to the west of Bilytske. I'm awaiting further information on this.

Staryy Saltov direction, Kharkiv oblast. Russian forces launched a large amount of successful infiltrations toward Zemlyanyy Yar, using favourable terrain to wrap around the back of Volcha. This is a worrying day for Ukraine.

Dobropillya direction, Donetsk oblast. Contrary to what i assumed, Russian forces have carried out sudden repeated deep infiltrations toward Dobropillya city, in and around the area of the mines. I'm attempting to clarify information regarding alleged consolidation. I believe this is unlikely. Any talk of a "breakthrough" is too early.

According to FighterBomber, a Russian air force channel, a Russian Ka-52 attack helicopter crashed, killing all crew members. I am working to clarify where this occured.

The latest from Kupyansk - Russian forces have consolidated their logistical situation on the western side of the city (made possible by the latest advances on the east bank of the Oskol) and seem poised to begin clearing operations in most of the city. Russian forces have already reached the central supermarket, train station and regional government office by means of repeated infiltrations. The city of Kupyansk could well fall this summer, but i think it will more likely hold out until September or October.

Donetsk oblast, Dobropillya direction. Russian forces advanced northeast of Hryshyne and launched numerous infiltrations into Shevchenko from the south and southeast. Due to these advances, Ukrainian presence in Rodinske will likely be eliminated soon.

Over the last 5 days, at least 3 Ukrainian military transport aircraft have flown from western Ukraine to NATO bases, where they were equipped with military equipment before flying back to Ukraine.

Kramatorsk/Slavyansk direction, Donetsk oblast. Russian forces consolidated control on the SE side of the canal, northwest of Pryvillya. They continued infiltrations through Yurkivka to Orikhuvatka. Meanwhile, Russian forces consolidated further in Ray-Oleksandrovka, and advanced SW of Kalenyky. Forward Russian units are now just over 9km from Kramatorsk.

Some further news in favour of Russia is about to come from Slavyansk-Kramatorsk direction.

I want to get something off my chest, so to speak. I sometimes feel the best way to admit that you were wrong without dwelling on it is to have a laugh at yourself. Me, being naive and misunderstanding attrition, predicted in 2024 that the frontline would collapse in early 2025. 🤦 Obviously, i’m a lot more educated now than i was, and i can look back and say to myself, what evidence was there to even remotely support such a prediction. Just wanted to get it off my chest. I’m far from perfect.
