Here is the dark past of the newly appointed Syrian intelligence chief! Abdulqader al-Tahhan has been appointed head of the Syrian General Intelligence Directorate. Ebdulqadir El-Tehan (Abdulqader Al-Tahan), also known by the pseudonym Abu Bilal Quds. He was born in 1980 in the city of Aleppo. He studied Sharia sciences, and later completed his Arabic language studies at Idlib University. After the start of the Syrian civil war, he joined opposition armed groups and in 2012 founded the Quds Brigade (Katibat al-Quds). Later, he took on security duties in opposition-held areas. In 2025, he served as Assistant Minister of Interior for Security Affairs in the Syrian Transitional Government. Then, on February 1, 2026, by a decree, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Interior with the rank of Major General (Liwa).

While Israel and the US attempt to gain control over the Strait of Hormuz and its surrounding areas through the Houthis,Iran is rapidly continuing to build up its armed presence in the interior of Lebanon. Lebanon stands like a ticking time bomb ready to explode.

Important! Remember Rami Al Dahesh - the soldier of the Syrian Government who glorified his act of killing a Kurdish woman and keeping her hair as a trophy - an article on Der-Spiegel has *debunked* the story as „joke“ claiming it is „fake hair“ and that Rami is not a soldier. An 80 page in depth research paper is now revealing that Rami is indeed a soldier, the story is true - and the story which *debunked* it, is fabricated. Reportedly Iran is preparing to resign from the MOU which will inevitably cause the conflict to escalate again - Israel will certainly join the operation, likely tonight.

Repost from Kurdish Front News
After eight years of occupation, the Turkish military has withdrawn from the village of Basli in the Afrin countryside, allowing residents to return to their homes. Around 50 families have returned, only to find that many houses had been looted, with belongings reportedly stolen, while some homes had also been demolished. Residents attributed the damage and alleged theft to Turkish-backed armed groups and Turkish forces. @KurdishFrontNews

In the early morning hours of today - 3 drones have struck a camp of the PAK north of Hawler.

Abu Amsha, a gang leader loyal to the Turkish state, says, "We're not educated enough to speak in technical terms; we're just tribal people." So, explain to me how this chicken thief(🐔) earned a doctorate in political science? Most of the officials in the interim Damascus government consist of ignorant individuals with ISIS backgrounds.

Deir ez-Zor: Two children drowned and more than 30 people are missing in the #Euphrates River after a ferry sank following a collision with a new pontoon bridge. Turkish soldiers and experts appeared in live broadcasts on official Syrian channels during the bridge’s opening ceremony earlier that morning. Do the Arab people see the true face of the Turkish state?

Solidarity rallies were held in several countries with expatriate communities to mark the anniversary of the massacres against the #Druze in #Suwayda. Protesters carried signs with photos of the victims, including children who were killed by government forces last July. They also called on human rights organizations to help ensure accountability, deliver justice, and support the return of the occupied villages.

Michelmann further spoke about what she described as inhumane conditions in women’s prisons, stating that most of the female detainees were Alawites and that some women were being held with children who had not yet learned to walk. She said that torture and electric shocks were routinely used in women’s prisons and that many women were confined in windowless cells with no beds or bedding, containing only white ceramic floors.

Released German journalist Eva Maria Michelmann: “Syria is not safe. Please do not believe that the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) government is democratic in any way. The practices of this regime are inhumane. I was subjected to torture during my detention.” Eva Maria Michelmann, a volunteer reporter with the ETHA organization, who was detained by the current Syrian authorities for several months before being released on June 19, 2026, shared her testimony in a video message presented at a press conference in Germany, where she thanked everyone who contributed to supporting her. Michelmann warned the European public, saying: “Please do not believe that the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) government is democratic in any way,” emphasizing that “the practices of this regime are inhumane.” She also described the torture she said she endured during her detention and called for the immediate release of Turkish journalist Ahmed Bulad.

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has said Beirut chose direct negotiations with Israel to shorten the "occupation" and the suffering of southerners, stated that “we were not in a position that allowed for ideal options.” Aoun said he is betting on his 21 July White House meeting with President Trump to secure U.S. support for restoring full Lebanese sovereignty, aid for the army and reconstruction funds. He said the idea of a meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu is “essentially excluded” and dismissed reports of a rift with army commander General Rodolphe Haykal, describing their relationship as “daily and excellent”.

In Syria, under the control of al-Jolani, the killings continue. In the last 24 hours alone, a total of 5 people, including one woman, were killed in various parts of the country.
