Trump lashes out at CNN, MS NOW over Xi coverage after media ban backfires President Donald Trump attacked CNN and MS NOW on Truth Social, accusing them of refusing to cover Chinese President Xi Jinping’s White House arrival because they did not want to give him favorable coverage.

💬 “They didn’t want credit to be given to ‘TRUMP,’ they refused to be there. That’s why they have such poor Ratings.”

Trump had barred CNN, MS NOW and Politico from White House grounds days earlier, prompting all three to sue. Major US television networks then suspended White House pool coverage in solidarity. A federal judge temporarily blocked the ban Thursday morning, and the affected journalists’ credentials were restored. But by the time Xi’s arrival ceremony began, there was still no network pool camera covering it. Trump, however, said the media would be back for Xi’s state dinner:

FSB detained Ukrainian spy in Sevastopol Russian security services intercepted an agent of Ukrainian special services in Sevastopol. Officers detained a Russian citizen born in 1994 who was conducting reconnaissance on Black Sea Fleet facilities. According to investigators, the suspect joined a chat of a terrorist organization banned in Russia, where he was recruited by a representative of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The man photographed military objects with his mobile phone and transmitted images to his handler. The court has arrested the citizen; criminal cases have been opened under articles on treason and participation in a terrorist organization.
