The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) affirms that the Zionist occupation's continued targeting of Palestinian journalists, the latest of which was the targeting of Al Jazeera Mubasher cameraman Ahmed Weshah, is a new crime added to its record of crimes against Palestinian media and an attempt to silence voices reporting on the killing, destruction, and genocide endured by our people.
The Palestinian journalist has become a direct target of the Zionist killing machine as part of a systematic policy intended to suppress the truth and prevent the documentation of crimes and violations against innocent civilians in the Gaza Strip. This comes after Palestinian, Arab, and free international media outlets have exposed the occupation's practices and unveiled the humanitarian suffering of our people to the world.
Targeting journalists and media professionals, despite the protection provided to them under international humanitarian law and relevant international conventions, reflect a disregard for all international norms and laws and its insistence to continue its crimes with no deterrence or accountability.

These Zionist crimes expose the extent of the extremism and hatred that govern the behaviour of these lawless gangs, whom will encounter nothing but a resolute response and resistance from our people.
The arson attack on the mosque coincides with the ongoing incursions into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the repeated attacks on Palestinian villages and properties, confirming that these crimes are part of the occupation's plans aimed at targeting our people, land and holy sites simultaneously. However, these plans will be confronted by our people's steadfastness and determination to resist the occupation and thwart its projects of settlement, annexation, and displacement.
The resistance in the West Bank will remain vigilant against the criminal enemy's soldiers and colonial settlers, holding them to account for their crimes and ensuring that they pay the price for their attacks. The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) warns of the danger of the statements and measures announced by the extremist criminal finance minister of the occupation, Bezalel Smotrich, regarding completing the control over Hebron, which constitute an unprecedented political and field escalation aimed at perpetuating the occupation and imposing its control and theft of the West Bank lands.

Hamas on Saturday delivered the Palestinian factions' response to the roadmap plan, which it had received from Mr. Nikolay Mladenov, the Board of Peace representative, on 19 April.
Hamas, along with the Palestinian factions and the mediating brothers (Egypt, Qatar, and Türkiye), held numerous meetings in Cairo over the past week, resulting in a unified national position presented yesterday.
The Palestinian factions have approached the roadmap for the implementation of the second phase of President Trump's plan with a high degree of responsibility and positivity, emphasising the necessity of implementing the first phase in its full details, particularly with regard to the humanitarian protocol and the cessation of all forms of aggression against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

A high-level delegation from the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), led by Dr. Musa Abu Marzouq, head of the Movement's International Relations Office, met with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, Mr. Georgy Borisenko, at the Foreign Ministry's headquarters in Moscow.
The Hamas delegation held in-depth political consultations with Russian officials regarding developments in the negotiation process and the Movement's position on them, as well as ways to unify international efforts to bring the war to a complete end and alleviate its effects on our people.
The delegation also briefed the Russian side on the repeated Israeli crimes and violations in the Gaza Strip, Jerusalem, and the West Bank, as well as the Zionist plans aimed at imposing catastrophic facts on the ground.
During the meeting, the Movement's delegation affirmed Hamas's full commitment to consolidating the ceasefire in a manner that ensures an end to our people's suffering, while emphasizing the commitment to achieving the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, leading to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state. Both sides also exchanged their views on the regional developments.
For his part, Mr. Borisenko reaffirmed the Russian Federation's unwavering support of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, and commitment to advancing the negotiation process to achieve security and stability, as well as to maintain ties and communication with the Movement.

The report's assertion that the silence and inaction of the international community, through its various bodies, in fulfilling its legal and humanitarian role to prevent these crimes and violations encourages the occupation to continue them; represents a shameful disgrace for the international community and an unjustifiable failure to fulfill its responsibilities and duties.
As we affirm the importance of this report and the facts and recommendations it contains, we call for the immediate initiation of legal proceedings against the occupation's leaders before the International Criminal Court and other relevant courts, sever all forms of ties with the criminal Zionist entity, and impose deterrent sanctions on its leaders implicated in the crimes of ethnic cleansing, annexation, and seizure of our Palestinian land.
