What does it really mean to be formed in our faith? Formation isn’t about a one-off encounter with Jesus. Neither does it only concern retreats, programmes, or studying the Catechism. Formation is the continual growth that we experience as disciples of Christ. This happens when we build our lives on the Word of God – when we meditate on it and allow it to guide us in our lives. How can we dive deeper into the Word of God so that it forms us, shapes us, and becomes the light of our path as we navigate this modern world? But honestly, how many times does it feel like you are? When friends start getting married, having children and building lives together, it can be hard not to wonder, “God, what about me?” Sometimes singleness can feel like standing on the sidelines while everyone else moves forward. But your life is not on pause. God has not forgotten you. There are people He wants you to meet, places He wants you to go, and ways He wants to work through you in this season. So instead of only asking, “When will my life change?” perhaps ask, “Lord, what are You inviting me into today?” And that doesn’t mean the ache of singleness isn’t real. It can hurt to desire something good and not know when it will come. But there are still friendships to nurture, places to explore, prayers to pray and ways God is shaping you right now. His witness reminds us that faith is not simply about believing in an idea, but about knowing, loving and choosing to follow Jesus. Three years have passed since Serene lost her husband, Kel, during a family vacation. In her unexpected journey of grief, she has wrestled with questions for God, learned how to navigate life without the person she once shared it with and discovered how loss has changed her. Yet, through the pain, Serene and her family have slowly discovered that grief and hope can exist side by side. What do we do when we feel like we’re under a curse? Is there anything we can do to protect ourselves from evil? It can be frightening to feel that something dark is being directed towards us, but as Christians, we are not called to respond with fear or hatred. We are called to turn towards God. As Fr. Fortea reminds us, “Good is always stronger than evil.” This echoes Christ’s words: “Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you” (Luke 6:27–28). So when fear creeps in, may we draw closer to the Lord through prayer, Scripture, the Rosary and the Eucharist. Our hope is not in our own strength, but in Christ, who is greater than any darkness. Deep down, every heart longs for peace. Yet how often do we search for it in everything but God, hoping that the right person, circumstance or achievement will finally make us feel whole? May we remember that the peace our hearts truly long for begins with Him. When we place God back at the centre, He gently restores what is unsettled within us and teaches us to become people of truth, justice and love. St. Pius X, pray for us! 🙏

In a world filled with outrage, disagreements and division, anger can feel almost impossible to escape. But as Christians, we are called not to deny anger, nor to let it control us, but to bring it to Christ and allow Him to transform it. When anger takes over, it can quickly become bitterness, hurt and division. But when we pause, pray and seek God’s wisdom, anger can become an opportunity to pursue what is right with love. May we learn to recognise when anger calls us to act for justice, and when it calls us instead to surrender, forgive and choose peace. 🕊 Here are five practical ways to help us navigate anger with grace. 🙏

In a world where so many of us are searching for companionship, it’s easy to reach for whatever makes us feel a little less alone — even AI. But there was a point when Clara realised that even AI had its limits.
