Life doesn't make no sense and makes sense at the same time. Your existence is full of outcomes that sometimes follow clear logic and other times feel completely random or absurd. Sometimes you do everything right and win, so it makes sense Other times you lose despite doing everything by the book, and you're confused There's also times when you lose because you make clear tactical mistakes Every time someone loses, or you lose, you tend to FIND A CLEAR EXPLANATION, A REASON - but sometimes it's just random, and doesn't have any logical explanation behind it Humans have a powerful need for cognitive closure, the desire for definite answers and the discomfort with ambiguity When something painful or confusing happens our brain rushes to construct a coherent story. This reduces anxiety in the short term but often leads us to invent causes that aren’t really there Your wife sucked dick? "YEAHH Cause i don't have 10 carsssss need to work harder"....No she just sucked dick cause she sucked dick, it's not about you necessarily Someone disrespected you? "Yeah cause I did X and Y" Not necessarily, some people are just retarded This over-attribution is closely related to the Fundamental Attribution Error. We desperately want the world (and our losses) to make logical, personal sense. You tend to blame CERTAIN THINGS and MISTAKES but you should do this less and just make fun of the whole situation like a low IQ idiot, leave it in the past and attack again like nothing happened The trick is to recover mentally and emotionally fast from anything.
