In parallel, the government is reportedly upgrading around 85 Border Outposts (BOPs) in the Northeast into fully operational, future-ready security hubs. These upgrades are aimed at strengthening border management, improving infrastructure, and enhancing preparedness across vulnerable sectors.
Meanwhile, authorities have intensified action against illegal immigration within the country. In Haryana's Rewari district, police identified 73 suspected illegal Bangladeshi nationals.
