IDF: In response to attacks on IDF soldiers in violation of the agreement: The IDF struck approximately 10 Hezbollah infrastructure sites and a truck used to transfer weapons in southern Lebanon In response to Hezbollah’s continued violations of the agreement and attacks against IDF soldiers in the Security Zone, yesterday (Thursday), the IDF precisely struck approximately 10 Hezbollah infrastructure sites in the areas of Bint Jbeil, Beit Yahoun, Kounine, and Braachit in southern Lebanon. The targeted infrastructure sites were used by Hezbollah to advance attacks against IDF soldiers operating in the Security Zone. In addition, overnight (Friday), IDF soldiers identified a Hezbollah terrorist cell transporting weapons in a truck near the Security Zone in southern Lebanon. Following the identification, the IDF struck the truck to remove the threat to the soldiers. Following the strike, secondary explosions were identified, indicating the presence of weapons inside the truck. The IDF will continue to operate to remove any threat to its soldiers and Israeli civilians.

IDF: IDF operations over the past week: Over one kilometer of underground terror tunnels dismantled in the Gaza Strip, four strikes conducted against terrorists who posed immediate threats in southern Lebanon, and more than 60 terror suspects apprehended in Judea and Samaria IDF troops continue to operate simultaneously across all fronts to eliminate threats to the State of Israel. In the Central Command, as part of dozens of operations throughout Judea and Samaria, more than 60 terror suspects were apprehended, including suspects who planned to carry out a terrorist attack, suspects affiliated with the Hamas terrorist organization, an individual suspected of stone-hurling, and suspects involved in the possession and trafficking of weapons. In addition, approximately 162,000 NIS in terror funds, five UAVs, materials used to manufacture explosive devices, incitement materials, ammunition, and weapons, including pistols and M-16 rifles, were confiscated. As part of his senior role in Hamas’ Shuja’iyya Battalion, Jandiya had also recently advanced terrorist attacks against IDF troops operating in the Gaza Strip. In addition, Jandiya was one of the prominent masked operatives who took part in the Hamas terrorist organization’s hostage release ceremonies conducted as part of the hostage release deals. Prior to the strike, steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance. IDF: During the General Staff situational assessment held yesterday morning (Thursday), the Chief of the General Staff, LTG Eyal Zamir, in the presence of the General Staff Forum, presented an IDF Certificate of Appreciation to the Commander of the "Bravo" Battery, CPT Nathan John Pernot, and additional commanders from his battery. The Certificate of Appreciation was awarded by the IDF in recognition of the commander, his soldiers, and the entire U.S. air defense contingent deployed in Israel throughout the war for their service and significant contribution. IDF: IDF soldiers apprehended eight wanted individuals in the area of Mukhmas IDF soldiers continue to operate throughout Judea and Samaria to thwart terrorism and apprehend terrorists. IDF: Yesterday (Thursday), an IDF reserve soldier was severely injured as a result of a close-quarters encounter in southern Lebanon. The soldier was evacuated to receive medical treatment at a hospital, and his family has been notified.

The troops of the Givati Brigade completed their mission in southern Lebanon after eight months of operations. Their deployment began with a defensive mission along the border and continued with offensive operations throughout southern Lebanon. During this time, the troops operated in the areas of Al-Khiam and Bint Jbeil, north of the Litani River, and along the Beaufort Ridge. The terrorist posed an immediate threat to the soldiers. Following the identification, the Israeli Air Force, directed by the soldiers on the ground, struck and eliminated the terrorist in order to remove the threat. IDF soldiers are operating in the Ali al-Taher Ridge area and will not allow Hezbollah terrorists to emerge from the underground terrorist infrastructure and operate in the area or pose a threat to IDF soldiers. IDF: A short while ago, IDF soldiers were dispatched to the area adjacent to Beit Ummar following a report regarding an attempted ramming attack in the area. No injuries were reported. IDF soldiers launched a pursuit of the suspects and are conducting searches in the area.

IDF: IDF soldiers continue operations to locate weapons in the Security Zone in southern Lebanon In recent days, IDF soldiers located an underground shaft and a weapons storage facility containing rockets and mortars in the area of At-Tiri in southern Lebanon. In an additional activity in the area of Maroun al-Ras, IDF soldiers located explosive devices, weapons, and additional military equipment. IDF: Earlier this morning, Israeli security forces were dispatched to the area of Mukhmas and began extensive searches following a report regarding several Israeli civilians that had been in the area and lost contact. The forces are conducting searches in the area to rule out the concern of a security incident. The IDF will continue to provide updates as developments occur.

Joint IDF and Israel Foreign Ministry Announcement: A preliminary team from the Israeli humanitarian assistance delegation landed in Venezuela a short while ago, following its departure from Israel in response to the earthquake that struck the country. The delegation will work alongside the local authorities to support recovery efforts. The delegation is led by Israel’s Ambassador-designate to Mexico, Yoed Magen, on behalf of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and by Brigadier General Elad Edri, Chief of Staff of the Home Front Command, who is leading the IDF delegation. Immediately upon arrival, members of the delegation began a series of working meetings with local authorities, emergency response officials, and additional partners to establish a situational assessment, identify needs on the ground, plan the joint effort, and complete preparations ahead of the start of operational activities. The remaining members of the delegation will join the preliminary team in the coming days. Once preparations are complete, the expert teams will begin operating alongside the local authorities to support the recovery efforts, while sharing the knowledge and experience the State of Israel has gained in responding to earthquakes, emergency situations, and humanitarian assistance missions around the world. Throughout the war, Asfour advanced sniper attacks and explosive device attacks against IDF troops operating in the Gaza Strip. In recent weeks, alongside advancing imminent terror attacks against IDF troops, Asfour also attempted to rebuild Hamas’ capabilities. The terrorist posed a threat to IDF troops operating in the Gaza Strip and was eliminated in an aerial strike.
