IDF: Hezbollah weapons storage facility found alongside a baby crib in southern Lebanon IDF soldiers of the Givati Brigade have been operating north of the Litani River in order to eliminate Hezbollah terrorists and remove threats to Israeli civilians. Since the beginning of activities in the area, more than 40 Hezbollah terrorists have been eliminated. Over the past several days, IDF soldiers located several Hezbollah weapons storage facilities inside civilian structures in the areas of Zawtar al-Gharbiyah and Zawtar al-Sharqiyah. The weapons located included Kalashnikov rifles, anti-tank missiles and launchers, magazines, grenades, communication devices, drones, and additional military equipment. One of the weapon storage facilities, which was inside a civilian building, was used by Hezbollah’s Radwan Force terrorists. Within it were dozens of weapons alongside a baby crib and civilian infrastructure. These weapons were used by Hezbollah terrorists to plan and carry out terror attacks against IDF soldiers operating in the area. This is yet another example of Hezbollah's military activity within the civilian population and civilian infrastructure in southern Lebanon, and of the terrorist organization's cynical exploitation of both to further its terrorist activities. IDF: Following the initial report regarding a shooting toward IDF soldiers operating in the Ramim Ridge area, IDF soldiers operating in the area identified a terrorist in Israeli territory, near the Israel-Lebanon border. The soldiers eliminated him shortly after he crossed into Israeli territory. IDF ground soldiers, including special forces, along with Israeli Air Force aircraft, were dispatched to the scene and continue to conduct extensive searches in the area. Throughout the war, he carried out rocket fire attacks against the State of Israel. The two terrorists were planning to carry out imminent terror attacks against IDF troops and were eliminated in order to remove the threat. Prior to the strike, steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance. IDF troops under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.

IDF: IDF strikes Hamas Naval Police Headquarters used by military wing; terrorists exploit civilian cover and advance warnings in order to smuggle weapons Earlier this week (Sunday), the IDF struck the main headquarters of Hamas’ Naval Police in the Khan Yunis area. The facility was used to advance and execute attacks against IDF troops and the State of Israel. Several terrorists operating from the site were eliminated, including Ismail al-Lahham, a cell commander in Hamas’ military wing. The Hamas Naval Police in the Gaza Strip operates alongside and under the authority of the terrorist organization’s military wing. It is involved in planning, directing, and executing terrorist activities against IDF troops and the State of Israel. The headquarters that was targeted was being used for Hamas’ efforts to rebuild and reconstitute its capabilities, in violation of the ceasefire agreement, including the restoration of the terrorist organization’s military infrastructure while exploiting facilities presented as civilian in nature. In addition, during the past week, the IDF struck and dismantled three Hamas weapons storage facilities in the southern Gaza Strip that were intended for use in attacks against IDF troops operating in the area. Prior to the strike on the facilities, and following advance warnings issued to the local population, the IDF identified several Hamas military wing operatives attempting to remove the weapons stored inside the facilities using vehicles. Following the identification, the IDF struck both the terrorists and the weapons. Following the strikes, secondary explosions were observed, confirming the presence of weapons inside the targeted facilities. The frontline area and the communities of Sifsufa, Meron, Or HaGanuz, Bar Yochai, Yesud HaMa’ala, Kisra-Sumei, Beit Jann, and Sde Eliezer will move to a Partial Activity level, which includes the following instructions: * Educational activities - educational activities may be held in structures or locations from which a standard protected space can be reached within the required protection time. * Workplaces - activities may be conducted in a structure or in locations from which a standard protected space can be reached within the required protection time. * Gatherings and services - up to 100 people outdoors and up to 400 people indoors. 2. The rest of the country will transition to a Full Activity level, with no restrictions. IDF: The IDF eliminated three senior Islamic Jihad terrorists in the Gaza Strip Last week (Saturday), the IDF struck in the central Gaza Strip and eliminated three senior terrorists in the Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorist organization. The following terrorists were eliminated in the strike: * Muhammad Atiya Hassan Abu Afash - Head of the Engineering and Specializations Array in the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization. Abu Afash was responsible for the development of the organization’s engineering capabilities. He was extensively involved in attacks against IDF troops and was considered a key and active terrorist within the organization. * Farhat Zuhair Farhat Harara - Deputy Head of the Engineering Array in the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist organization. Harara served as the deputy and close associate of the head of the engineering array and was eliminated alongside him in the same strike. * Abdallah Allah Riyad Masoud Qadoum - Head of the Anti-Tank Missile Array in the northern sector of the Gaza Strip in the Islamic Jihad. Over recent years, he has advanced numerous anti-tank attacks against IDF troops. Recently, and in violation of the ceasefire agreement, the terrorists continued to advance attacks against IDF troops and the State of Israel. Their activities were part of the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization’s ongoing efforts, following its participation in the October 7th massacre, to rebuild and enhance its military capabilities and advance additional attacks. The IDF will continue to operate against the terrorist organization and to remove any threat to IDF troops and Israeli civilians.
