Have you ever wondered why some super smart people, especially those in medical fields, find the TOEFL test super challenging? It's like being a champion swimmer but struggling to ride a bike. Here's the scoop: Medical pros are wizards at learning by seeing and hearing. They spend years mastering complex concepts by reading and listening. This is called receptive learning, where they absorb tons of information like sponges. But here’s the twist: the TOEFL test asks them to jump into action and use English in real life, not just understand it. This means speaking up and writing down thoughts clearly. That's where things get tricky. It's a whole different ball game known as productive skills, and it's about making the language come alive. Imagine this: You've been watching football all your life, but one day, you're asked to play in the big leagues without ever having kicked a ball! That's how it feels for these test-takers. They know the language in their heads, but when it's game time, producing it on the spot isn't second nature. So, what's the secret sauce to conquering the TOEFL? Practice, practice, and more practice. Not just any practice, though. It's about targeted exercises that build those speaking and writing muscles. It's about creating English sentences as naturally as breathing, expressing complex ideas as if chatting with an old friend. And here's a pro tip: Start with awareness. Understand the 'hows' and 'whys' of speaking and writing. Get curious about grammar, play with new words, and structure your thoughts like building blocks. Remember, friends, it's all about balance. Just like a diet needs veggies and fruits, language learning needs reading, listening, AND speaking and writing. Give each skill the attention it deserves, and soon, taking the TOEFL will feel like a walk in the park. My methods actually focus on productive skills so you do not suffer. If you follow my  method, sometimes, even after taking classes with me, YOU WILL GET THE SCORES. The people who do not get the scores are the ones who stop practicing with my  method because they do not have awareness of what productive skills need to improve to build automaticity. So, let's turn those frustrations into victories. Let's show the TOEFL what we're made of!  You're not just studying for a test; you're unlocking a world where English is your superpower. @toeflzone

Students often ask questions like: “If I get 17 answers right in the reading section, what is my final score?” The answer, of course, is something like: “I have no idea. Every test is different!” The best I can do is share this chart from the new Official Guide to the TOEFL.  Check it out:

We all love to celebrate successful TOEFL results, but sometimes, despite even the best preparation, we get results like these. So, what do we do when this happens? First, and most importantly, we don’t panic. We review the whole exam experience and think carefully about what happened. We ask difficult questions, and we’re honest with our answers. Then we make a plan to: *focus on weaknesses *build language skills *get exam (performance) ready *practice, correct, repeat So we come back even stronger, more motivated and ready to conquer TOEFL forever. Thank you to my wonderful student Trang for allowing me to share her results. We’ll be able to celebrate her TOEFL success soon. Congrats to all of you who shared your scores with me and got your desired TOEFL score.

Well, TOEFL takers in Canada and the USA those who are pharmacists and dentists), Some test takers have reported that today's afternoon TOEFL reading and listening sections presented a bit of a challenge. While this may be the case, remember to stay focused and manage your time wisely. Keep calm, trust your preparation, and approach each question methodically. Hey good luck!
