Según el canal RNIntel, fuerzas del gobierno yemení, respaldadas por la coalición saudí-emiratí, avanzaron en las últimas horas en el distrito de Hayfan, dirección Taiz, hacia la localidad de Ad Dimnah, bajo control de los hutíes. La Resistencia Nacional Yemení y las Brigadas Gigantes, unidades alineadas con el gobierno, capturaron además la localidad de al-Fish, en las afueras occidentales de al-Jarrahi, dirección Hays. Posteriormente, estas mismas fuerzas lanzaron ataques a gran escala para tomar el poblado de al-Masbariya, al este de al-Jarrahi, con el objetivo de cortar la ruta de abastecimiento que pasa por la zona de al-Adini, la cual conecta esa ciudad con Ibb, bastión de los hutíes en el sur del país. RNIntel señaló que, pese a la escasa relevancia del poblado en sí, la pérdida de esa ruta aislaría a al-Jarrahi de dicho bastión. En paralelo, se registraron fuertes combates al sur del monte Jebel Dabbas, donde los hutíes impidieron el avance de las fuerzas gubernamentales.
Las fuerzas del gobierno podrían haber roto las líneas de defensa de los hutíes en al-Jarrahi, con enfrentamientos en las afueras sur de la ciudad. Imágenes grabadas por la Resistencia Nacional Yemení muestran la situación en esa zona, donde el eje norte de Hays se habría vuelto crítico para los hutíes.
Sin embargo, RNIntel reportó también avances de los hutíes en otro sector del frente de Taiz, en el área de Bani Bakari, donde habrían logrado presencia en las alturas alrededor del monte Jabal Habashi, lo que les permitiría controlar bajo fuego la ruta de abastecimiento occidental de Taiz, conocida como al-Darba. Según el mismo reporte, los hutíes capturaron también el cruce de Sherajah y el pequeño poblado de Najd an-Nashamah, cortando la vía que conecta Najd al-Qasaim con al-Mansora, otra ruta que abastece a Taiz.
