🇪🇸El Ciclo Primero de la convocatoria publicada por Resolución 452/38013/2024, de 26 enero, de la Subsecretaría de Defensa, para el ingreso en los centros de formación para incorporarse a las escalas de tropa y marinería del año 2024 acaba de concluir, y lo ha hecho con un resultado inusua: con plazas desiertas. Uno de los destinos que en este ciclo primero “no tienen aspirantes aptos para dar cobertura a todas las plazas ofertadas” es el Grupo de Regulares de Melilla nº 52, con 12 vacantes desiertas. En Tercio ‘Gran Capitán’ 1º de la Legión las vacantes desiertas han sido 9. Al menos dos unidades de zapadores han registrado cifras llamativamente altas de plazas sin cubrir. Defensa sacó 60 plazas para el Batallón de Zapadores II de la Legión, integrado en la Brigada ‘Rey Alfonso XIII’ IIª de la Legión, con base en Viator (Almería). Sólo se han cubierto 34, y han quedado 26 sin cubrir. En el caso del Batallón de Zapadores VII, de la Brigada ‘Galicia’ VII (Figueirido, Pontevedra), ha quedado 21 de 40 plazas sin asignar a nuevos soldados. Para ir destinados al Regimiento de Ingenieros nº 1, con base en Castrillo del Val (Burgos) se ofertaron 34 plazas, y 21 no han sido cubiertas. Otras 19 han quedado sin cubrir en el Regimiento de Pontoneros y Especialidades de Ingenieros nº 12, de Zaragoza, de las 70 que se incluyeron en la convocatoria de ingreso.
