🇬🇧The seventh consecutive year of African Lion exercises in Tunisia began with an opening ceremony at El Aouina Air Base in Tunisia on April 29, 2024. US Army Brig. General John A. LeBlanc, deputy commanding general of SETAF-AF: We are very grateful to our Tunisian hosts. They continue to demonstrate their professionalism and hospitality. This multinational engagement is designed to prevent conflict, deter adversary aggression, and ensure preparedness to respond effectively to any crisis. The exercise will run until May 10, 2024 in Tunisia, but will continue until May 31 in three other host countries: Morocco, Ghana and Senegal. Although more than 1,000 military personnel from the United States and Tunisia participate here, more than 8,000 multinational military personnel from 27 countries and NATO contingents will participate in the exercise. ▫️@ENTRE_GUERRAS▫️

🇧🇯🇳🇪🇨🇳Benín ha decidido bloquear la carga de petróleo nigerino desde la plataforma Sèmè Kpodji, en Benín, donde llega el oleoducto. El oleoducto, de casi 2.000 kilómetros de longitud, transporta petróleo nigerino desde Agadem a Benin. La decisión de Cotonú fue tomada al más alto nivel del Estado y notificada al embajador chino en Benin y a la empresa gestora del oleoducto.
