Five years ago today, I opened this channel and made my first post. It's been five years...words can't express my feelings now. Lots of people have joined it recently. Even more subscribers left it after taking the IELTS test. But I know there are few of those who've been here since day 1. And I want to thank you for this. I know, I don't make so many posts as the owners of other channels. I don't forward here books and PDF files for practising and self-study. But I and other teachers of the Intellectuals do try to help you with everything we know about IELTS. @ieltsboyko

Saida Jabborova took the IELTS test three times 1st attempt - band 6.5 2nd - band 7.5 3rd - band 8.5 Saida was quite disappointed when she got 6.5 first while other Intellectuals of the Generation X got 7.0 and 7.5. She decided to resit the test and immersed herself in English learning. Even when she got C1, she didn't stop and kept studying (plus started teaching). Today, she's got her C2 and we're endlessly happy for this achievement! Saida has never got 7.0 and 8.0 Kerak amas bular Get 9.0 next time, you're very close Saida! @ieltsboyko

Remember Mukhammad?! Now he's an IELTS instructor and the founder of English School in Urgench. He updated his score reaching unbelievable heights I don't know anyone in Uzbekistan who has achieved band 8.5 in Writing on paper-based IELTS! He told me that he wrote around 290 words in task 2 whereas I wrote 440 in mine last Sunday We don't need to write extremely long essays to get C2 in IELTS Congratulations, Mukhammad! You deserve overall C2 and it'll be yours this summer (or autumn) @ieltsboyko

The teacher's name is Elena She took the test on April 18, and today her results have been released Her previous overall score was 7.0 with speaking band 6.5. Nice progress! Accept our congratulations Elena The Intellectuals love you! @ieltsboyko

PS, my first 8.5 in speaking via Zoom! Now I finally feel comfortable and confident in this format. That live stream helped so much! Plus, if you ever have a chance to be assessed by Ashrya, the IDP speaking examiner, you'll experience some smart conversation and get a high score if everything goes right! Honestly, I don't feel upset. I'm not in a hurry to get that score. So I'll just keep working on myself, and sooner or later, it'll be mine @ieltsboyko

I didn't expect that my score in speaking would be so high. Well, apparently, those hard questions were given 'cuz the examiner wanted to know whether I deserved C2 or not. Reading( Some questions in passage three were tough (Y/N/NG) Writing I should've written a couple of sentences less in each task to correct all the errors I might have made and overlooked My eleventh 8.5... Well, we need more than 30 days to reach 9.0 I ain't gonna stop here So close but yet so far @ieltsboyko
