PS, I haven't told anything about the location of the school. Not a big deal. We don't have to cover every sub-question in part 2. Don't forget, no 'task achievement' in IELTS speaking @ieltsboyko

PSS, I've just noticed a mistake. I write as a candidate, and then check myself as an examiner. So I havent included anything about videos. For this reason, I'll remove the second sentence in the overall statement and add one more sentence about videos in the body paragraph 1. The edited version will be posted below:

PS, the most challenging aspect of describing tables is to avoid including insignificant features. I haven't mentioned the details of β€’ adults - food (25%) β€’ adults - equipment (5%) β€’ adults - videos (1%) β€’ men - videos (2%) β€’ women - videos (0.5%) β€’ children - electronic equipment (23%) β€’ children - videos (12%) β€’ boys - videos (18%) β€’ girls - videos (17%) In total, I mentioned 15 details out of 24. @ieltsboyko

The table compares the percentages of income that adults and children of both sexes spent on food, electronic equipment, music and video in the UK in the year 1998. Overall, while adults spent more income on food than on the other items, it was music which accounted for the highest percentage among children, according to the table. Furthermore, adult men were more economical in comparison with their female counterparts whereas girls, proportionally, spent less money on these items than boys. Concentrating on adults, men and women spent 14% and 39% of their income on food respectively. Conversely, the former spent ten times as much money on electronic equipment as the latter, with the ratio 10:1. The only item where the figures of both genders are identical is music, making up 5% of the total share. Turning to children, the expenditure of boys and girls on music was nearly the same, with around 39% for each sex. The biggest discrepancy can be seen in the expenditure on electronic equipment, where the figure for girls (5%) is almost four times less than that of boys (18%). Lastly, they both spent on food the least, with around 10% of their income (199 words) @ieltsboyko

Day 26: My biggest weakness in task 1 is describing tables. In contrast, I find maps the easiest. No time to work on easy tasks @ieltsboyko
