🇲🇾 Malaysia's central bank delivers its rate decision at 3:00pm today, with markets expecting it to hold at 2.75%.
🇸🇬 The CGS Fullgoal Singapore Next 50 ETF - the first actively managed ETF benchmarked against the iEdge Singapore Next 50 Index - lists on the SGX today, allocating 80% of its portfolio to the index's constituents. A strong reception could generate additional flows and liquidity for Singapore's small- and mid-cap stocks.

🇸🇬 MAS is proposing new stablecoin rules under amendments to the Payment Services Act, covering cross-border recognition of foreign-issued tokens, a ban on interest payments for MAS-regulated stablecoins, and stress-testing and wind-down requirements for issuers. The consultation runs until October 16. Singapore's August PMI is due tonight at 9:00pm.
