While you do regain health while on foot in Empulse, the massive mechs that appear during a match do not regain health. Instead, they continue losing health until they explode, making it tough to play cautiously, since you can't exactly take cover in the giant mechs. Your best option is to play more aggressively and wait until the last second to bail from the mech before it explodes. You will pop out with full health if you exit a mech before it explodes, giving you the chance to surprise attack anyone nearby.

The grapple hook is your ticket to fast movement and quick positioning, but it can also be used in more creative ways. You can grapple directly onto another player, pulling yourself towards them quickly. Attaching yourself to a teammate lets you quickly get to their position, but grappling into an enemy is even better. If you successfully land a grapple shot on an enemy and make it all the way to them, you'll be rewarded with a one-hit KO melee attack. Mech's don't heal; use it or lose it
