Folkish Worldview

The word "folkslop" has begun to spread within fake pagan circles as a libel against actual paganism. This is because folkishness has emerged victorious from every contact with Platonism, monism, and other such heresies, and they don't know what else to do. Ironic that they consider themselves the "intellectual" wing of paganism but have lost every argument in recent years because—surprise!—turns out that not believing in the gods is indistinguishable from atheism. So they resort to tagging the thing they can't defeat with the word "slop". Pretty lazy, but then, they are out of options. This won't go on much longer, though. The more intelligent Platonists have begun to follow one of two paths: either abandon Platonism for an actually traditional form of paganism, or remain Platonists and just convert to Christianity already. Either way, the salad days of Platonism parasitising paganism are over, and the rancorous "infighting" is simply the painful process of the body fighting off an infection that killed the ancient version of it. @folkishworldview
