I like how the "hard sciences" is a real phrase, as if they need to let you know: "Hey, not all science is true, but this science over here is definitely is! The problem is just that no one can understand it, even us, otherwise we'd be happy to let you check our work. But see, we're way smarter than you and we don't even understand it, so there's no point in even trying to explain it to someone like you. Trust us. We don't lie. Ever. We're the hard sciences."

Why do so many of NASA's official explanations include the fact that they don't actually know if what they're saying is true and make the rest up with a model? Why doesn't that bother anyone? To be clear, these models are no different than the climate models that say we're underwater or the covid models that say we're all dead. It doesn't matter if the math is perfect. It doesn't matter if the system is internally coherent. It matters whether or not all the assumptions in the model represent a verifiable truth about Reality Prime, and there is legitimately no way they can. They don't even pretend to. A verifiable truth about Reality Prime isn't the "best guess we have" or "what the best minds believe it to be" or "something that is consistent with history." Those are all unverifiable guesses about Reality Prime that represent a consensus, dogmatic belief in the False Reality. You are not deeply understanding Reality Prime, you've thoroughly indoctrinated into belief in the unverifiable guesses of the most powerful and evil people to ever live. The scientists are every bit as susceptible to the incentive and punishment structure within the Party of False Decorum as anyone else. They're not any better as people. They're not any smarter. Many (most) scientists will believe literally FUCKING ANYTHING if you pay them and tell them they're smart. Said differently, Scientists are every bit as subject to Abstract Power Projection in terms of wealth and status as anyone. They are every bit as corruptible. They are easily compromised based on their relatively weak social skills and constant need for acclaim. It's not complicated after this. Also, you have to love how the thing that "sees" the sun farts is called STEREO when auroras are created by manipulating radio frequencies. I'm not the one making a mockery of science.
