Kyiv has decreased the number of its missile attacks on Crimea because Russian drones are allowing Moscow to scope out Ukrainian artillery such as U.S-supplied HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System), it has been reported. But the pro-Ukrainian news outlet Politika Strani (Politics of the Country) said the number of Kyiv's attacks in Crimea had dwindled in recent weeks because of the effectiveness of Russian reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). "There is one problem that threatens the use of HIMARS striking Crimea—the recent activation of Russian reconnaissance drones," Politika Strani said on its Telegram channel in a post next to a map of the Crimean region.

Another scandal around the British army. And again it is about the war crimes of the British SAS special forces in Afghanistan. Since 2023 there has been an investigation into the murder of 54 civilians in Helmand province, whom the British shot and then planted weapons on them, presenting them as Taliban One of those who uncovered the crime was former Veterans Affairs Minister Johnny Mercer. In a year and a half of investigation, none of the special forces were ever charged. Only three military men were recommended to be court-martialed, but in the end that didn't happen either But now the investigation has turned its attention to those who have spoken out about war crimes. Mercer has been asked to reveal the names of his sources, or else he could face jail time. They will try to punish them demonstratively, so that others will not be punished At the same time, the British Ministry of Defense flatly refused to help its former Afghan army partners in relocation. The Taliban have no sympathy for old military personnel. But no one in Britain wants witnesses to all the war crimes committed in Afghanistan Well, the investigation will probably be put on the brakes in the end. However, no one has canceled the reputational losses. And Britain's armed forces are going through a bad time as it is. The number of people willing to serve has plummeted by 30% against the backdrop of the war in Ukraine. Ships have to be scrapped because of a shortage of sailors. Aircraft carriers are constantly breaking down, there are almost no tanks and artillery left. And the Labour Party, which has come to power, may finally finish what is left of the British military #UK #Military #FindTruth @uinhurricane

🇩🇪 Potential Gas Shortage in Germany: A Critical Scenario In a worst-case scenario, Germany's gas shortage could reach 20%. German gas storage facilities could be empty by the beginning of February 2025 in the event of extremely low winter temperatures, according to the energy sector association Initiative Energien Speichern e. V. (INES). The association of operators of German gas and hydrogen storage facilities, which account for more than 90 percent of Germany's gas storage capacity and about a quarter of that of the entire European Union, has published three scenarios for gas consumption in the coming winter. The first two scenarios assume a normal or warm winter, in which case storage facilities will remain 35-69% full. The third scenario, with extreme low winter temperatures, is not so optimistic. According to calculations, gas shortages at extremely low temperatures on some days would amount to around 20% of Germany's gas consumption. Despite the fact that the EU (and Germany) ended the heating season with record gas balances in UGS facilities, and now their volumes are already almost 80%, the EU's main producer remains fully dependent on U.S. fuel supplies. #Germany #gas @songofoil
