🇫🇷 - I'm noticing that PM Attal is more popular than Macron in the poll. If he pulls it off in 2027, the question will be: will he be more politically clever than Macron on the international level? For this, he will inevitably have to listen to the experts and the "elder statesmen". Diplomatically, I do note that Attal was very clever and sensitive during his visit to Quebec, where he supported the current Quebec govt and nationalist movement as a whole. That may hint at a will to return to a more traditionnal French diplomacy.

🇮🇱🇷🇺 - ICC being "neutral" and indicting everyone who "deserve it" could really hurt the institution by giving everyone a good reason to just ignore it. The idea of an international criminal court was always a little foolish to begin with and its not surprising it is quickly becoming a joke when the war they have to handle aren’t in sub-saharan Africa or the Balkan.

🇬🇦 - Gabon is an OPEC member. US sanctionned them following the coup which ousted a pro-French dynasty present since independence era. It is one of the most developped countries in sub-Saharan Africa, and the most developped country in French-speaking Africa.

🇺🇦🇷🇺 - If White men are so weak, how is it that both sides in the Ukraine war are holding the front and no side collapsed because of troops massively running away for their lives?
