As part of our ongoing research project, we had the opportunity to visit WAT Chocolate Factory and Senteurs d'Angkor in Siem Reap to explore how Cambodian products are developed, produced, and brought to market. (24/7/2026)
Every visit provides valuable insights into the strengths, challenges, and future potential of Cambodia's local industries while showcasing the dedication behind every Khmer-made product.

The NUM research team of the 'Made-in-Cambodia' research project has successfully completed field data collection with retailers and sellers across Kandal, Prey Veng, and Svay Rieng provinces from 14β16 July 2026.
Through in-depth interviews, the team explored recent market dynamics, including changes in supply sources before and after the CambodiaβThailand geopolitical tension, the emergence of alternative product suppliers, market substitution patterns, and the challenges faced by Cambodian-made products in expanding their market presence. The fieldwork also examined how retailers and consumers have adapted to evolving supply chains and changing market conditions.
These findings will contribute to a better understanding of Cambodia's domestic market and provide evidence-based insights to support policies and strategies for strengthening the competitiveness of Made-in-Cambodia products.
The National University of Management (NUM) is pleased to announce a call for papers to be published in the first issue of NUM Scientific Research and Innovation (NUMJoSRI) - a new peer-reviewed journal initiated by H.E. Prof. Hor Peng, Rector of NUM, to promote academic and policy research, innovation, and conducive research ecosystem at NUM as a whole.
