From Kandal to Battambang to Siem Reap Another meaningful stop on the Erasmus and European Scholarship Info Session this week on 26 June 2026, this time at the University of South-East Asia (USEA) in Siem Reap, where Ms. LY Sokunthy, Head of the Research Project Coordination Office, had the opportunity to speak on the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) programme. The session brought together the management, professors, and lecturers from the University of South-East Asia (USEA), Angkor University (AU), Cambodia University of Specialties (CUS) Siem Reap Campus, Build Bright University (BBU) Siem Reap Campus, and Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia (PUC) Siem Reap Campus. The event was jointly organised by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, EU Delegation to Cambodia and French embassy, with USEA serving as the host institution, to strengthen Cambodian higher education institutions' capacity to engage in international academic collaboration and Erasmus+ opportunities.

On 25 June 2026, Ms. LY Sokunthy, Head of the Research Project Coordination Office, delivered a presentation on the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) programme during the "Erasmus and European Scholarship Info Session" to the management, professors, and lecturers from the National University of Battambang (NUBB), Battambang Teacher Education College (BTEC), University of Management and Economics (UME), Dewey International University, Cambodia University for Specialties (CUS) Battambang Campus, and Build Bright University (BBU) Battambang Campus. During the presentation, she provided an overview of the CBHE programme, explained the grant application process, and shared practical strategies for developing competitive and successful project proposals. The event was hosted by NUBB and jointly organised by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the EU Delegation to Cambodia.

On 24th June 2026, the National University of Management organized a Public Seminar on “Cambodia’s Graduation from Least Developed Country (LDC) Status: Opportunities, Challenges, and Implications for the Younger Generation” presented by our distinguished guest, Dr. Daniel Gay, Former UN Economist, and under the presidency of H.E. Prof. Hor Peng, Rector of the National University of Management. The seminar explored Cambodia’s progress toward LDC graduation, the opportunities and challenges ahead, and what this transition means for young people and the country’s future development. 📢 New Research Report Released We are pleased to announce the publication of our latest research report: Addressing Household Debt and Financial Vulnerability: Empirical Evidence from Reay Pay Commune, Kangmeas District, Kampong Cham Province This bilingual (Khmer–English) report presents empirical evidence from a household survey of 348 households across 11 villages in Reay Pay Commune. The study examines the drivers of household debt and financial vulnerability and provides evidence-based policy recommendations to strengthen financial resilience, promote responsible lending, and support sustainable rural development.
