We Jews have survived more than 2,000 years of exile and relentless persecution across the world, including in countries where Jews once flourished and contributed enormously to the societies around us: Spain, Germany, Poland, Britain and throughout the Arab and Muslim world.
But today is different. As Jew-hating antisemitism once again grows across Western countries, Jews no longer have to simply run away searching for another temporary place of refuge. For the first time in 2,000 years, we are blessed with the opportunity to come home.
We are once again sovereign in our God-given, indigenous, ancestral homeland. Our Jewish future in Israel is bright. And the Jews of the West have something generations of our ancestors could only dream of: the opportunity not merely to flee growing Jew-hating antisemitism, but to come home to Israel and join us in the miraculous, redemptive process of building the future of the Jewish people.

| 2 | The Soviet Union is no longer, but this strategy is succeeding far beyond their imagination.
Then came another revealing document.
A 1991 internal Muslim Brotherhood memorandum, later introduced as evidence in the Holy Land Foundation case, described the Muslim Brotherhood's work in America as a “Civilization-Jihadist Process” and spoke explicitly about “eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within.”
Ignoring these ideologies today working in tandem, clearly seen on university campuses and in election campaigns, is dangerously naive.
Because Israel and the Jews were never the final target.
First delegitimize Israel.
Then Zionism.
Then the Jews who refuse to abandon Zionism.
And ultimately challenge the America and Western civilization Israel represents.
And legitimize hatred and terror against all Jews and their supporters.
That is why the obsession with “Palestine” is so powerful. It becomes the gateway cause bringing together political movements that otherwise have almost nothing in common.
And incredibly, Jews like Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel themselves are helping advance it while believing they are fulfilling “Jewish values”, while in reality they are actively assisting the campaign against the Jewish people and the destruction of America as a freedom-loving country.
Nessel actually recognizes part of the danger. She acknowledged that there are people within her own political camp who “seek the destruction of Israel as a Jewish state and place the Jewish diaspora in jeopardy.”
Yet her conclusion is still that Jews might have to place even our own survival second.
No.
Jewish survival is not selfish.
Defending Jewish children is not selfish.
Fighting Jew-hating antisemitism in the Democratic Party is not selfish.
And defending the world's only Jewish state after 2,000 years of exile is not selfish.
Ignoring the growing cancer of evil in the Democratic party elected leadership is not selfish.
The real lesson of Esther is precisely the opposite.
There comes a moment when Jews must stop worrying about acceptance, recognize the danger around us and stand unapologetically for our people.
American Jews need to understand something else as well:
The forces seeking to destroy Israel will not stop with Israel. The ideologies demonizing Jews will not stop with Jews. And the red-green alliance that wants to destroy America do not become defenders of America simply because Americans join them in attacking Israel.
The whole red-green alliance is about the destruction of America and the Biblical values upon which the West was established. And the Jews/Israel? We are just the canary in the mine, the low hanging fruit to galvanize the masses to join the red-green revolution out to destroy life as know it.
Jewish history has given us enough warnings.
Jews in both parties, the Democrats and the Republicans, need to wake up.
We shouldn't need another catastrophe before we finally learn to recognize one.
Our future as a Jewish people is bright in Israel, and I hope and pray more American Jews begin planning their families’ futures here, at the very least, by sending their children and grandchildren to study at Israeli universities and build a deeper connection to their homeland, where the national calendar is the Jewish calendar.
In the meantime, American Jews must wake up to what is happening around them on both sides of the political aisle.
For now, these dangerous forces have not penetrated the Republican Party leadership or become mainstream within the party to anything approaching what we are witnessing among Democrats. But nobody should become complacent. Troubling voices are emerging there as well.
What once seemed impossible inside the Democratic Party became mainstream far faster than many Jews imagined. We cannot assume it could never happen on the Republican side too. | 6 |
| 3 | Did you hear what Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, herself Jewish, just told the Michigan Democratic Jewish Caucus???
“We have a moral imperative to place the needs of the world above even our own self-interest and, yes, even our own survival.”
Nessel wasn't speaking abstractly about Jewish ethics. The immediate political backdrop was convincing a growing population of Michigan Jews uncomfortable voting in the November Michigan Senate for Democrat Abdul El-Sayed and instead voting for Republican Mike Rogers.
El-Sayed has generated serious concern among Michigan Jewish Democrats because of his Israel positions and his response to the March 2026 terrorist attack on Temple Israel outside Detroit. After that attack, El-Sayed had said “hurt people hurt people” and “violence is a cycle.”
But Nassel went even further in trying to convince her fellow Jewish Democrats to vote for El-Sayed, invoking Queen Esther while suggesting Jews may have to “sacrifice the comfort, safety and security and even the very future of our own people” to save humanity.
And she explicitly juxtaposed protecting Israel with other global concerns:
“What good is defending the historic homeland of our ancestors and demanding that candidates acknowledge its right to exist, if the planet upon which it rests is no longer inhabitable?”
She then asked the Jewish Democratic audience:
“Come November, what do your Jewish values tell you to do?”
This is truly insane and extremely sad, but not surprising.
She literally turns the ancient Jewish lesson of Esther completely upside down.
Esther risked herself to save the Jewish people. She didn't risk the Jewish people to save a growing Jew-hating antisemitic party leadership.
Sadly, it was inevitable that some American Jews would eventually reach this dangerous place.
For generations, too many Jews have gradually replaced Judaism as a civilization - faith, Torah, peoplehood, Jewish history, Eretz Yisrael and responsibility for Jewish continuity - with a universalist political identity.
They have convinced themselves that supporting the Democratic Party represents caring for humanity, the Jewish value of “Tikun Olam” ( fixing the world), and that caring for humanity is therefore the ultimate expression of “Jewish values.”
The result is the troubling reality we see today: for too many Jewish Democrats, their political affiliation has effectively become their new religion, justified every step of the way in the name of “Jewish values.”
But caring for humanity is Jewish.
Sacrificing Jewish survival is not. And definitely not sacrificing Jewish survival to save a growing Jew-hating antisemitic party leadership.
But there is an even greater tragedy here.
Many Jews embracing today's radical anti-Israel politics seem completely ignorant of the decades-old ideological convergence called the Red-Green alliance: the strange partnership between the progressive/socialist left and jihadi Islam.
These movements disagree about almost everything. Yet they have repeatedly found common ground around anti-Zionism and the Jew-hating antisemitism that accompanies it.
And Israel became the perfect unifying target.
Turn Israel into a “colonial oppressor.” Turn Zionism into racism. Turn “palestinian Arabs” into the ultimate victims. Then portray Jews, and those who support Israel, as immoral.
This isn't some new phenomenon. This was a plan hatched years ago.
Decades ago, the now defunct Soviet Union systematically weaponized anti-Zionism as part of its propaganda war against Israel and the West, helping popularize the narrative portraying Zionism as racism, colonialism and imperialism.
Romanian intelligence defector Ion Mihai Pacepa later described Soviet-bloc efforts to cultivate and disseminate anti-Israel and anti-American propaganda throughout the Arab and Muslim worlds. They created the Palestinian national identity as the key part of this strategy, to legitimize hatred and terrorism against the Jew and the Jewish state of Israel. | 7 |

What a powerful way to begin the day protecting the land, with the sound of the shofar awakening our souls and preparing our nation for the High Holy Days.
The shofar is calling us home, not only physically to our ancestral homeland, but spiritually back to Hashem.
God is waiting for us to return to Him, as individuals and as a nation.
May this be a month of teshuva, strengthened emunah, unity, blessing and redemption for Am Yisrael!

| 6 | Friends of Israel in America cannot defend us if our own leadership keeps feeding them the other side’s framing.
#4. The Palestinian Authority is not a peace partner. It is an army in waiting.
The Palestinian authority fields more than 60,000 armed, militarily trained men, trained by U.S. military experts. That is not a municipal police force. That is a standing threat, trained, paid, and positioned for the day they decide to invade Israeli communities and attempt an October 7 on a far larger scale.
Hamas sent a few thousand armed jihadis across the fence on October 7. The PA force is more than 60,000!
And Israel still performs on the world stage as if the Palestinian Authority is a “partner for peace.” That is a huge mistake. Partners for peace do not build an army next to Jewish towns while teaching the next massacre as destiny.
The only way Israelis will be safe from this threat is if Israel stops pretending. Announce to the world that the Palestinian Authority is an enemy. Disarm and dismantle its army and police force before they attack, and expel all the jihadist, not after they attack. Waiting for the first strike, after October 7, is not caution. It is denial that is a death sentence for many Jews.
Qusra is not a story about a few angry young Jews on a hill.
It is a story about an army that will not deter, a land war we refuse to name, a foreign-passport strategy we apologize for instead of exposing, and a 60,000-man force we still treat as a diplomatic prop.
The headlines will keep blaming Jews.
The reality is that Jews are reacting to a vacuum created by leaders who still will not call the enemy the enemy.
Until that changes, the hills will keep filling with the people willing to hold them.
And that is the good news.
After three decades of the disastrous Oslo peace plan that has endangered our lives, we finally have a generation willing to put their own lives on the line in the hills of Judea and Samaria, filling in for an army that has been neutered from its purpose: protecting Jewish life.
These youth and young families live alone on hilltops. They shepherd sheep and goats on barren land. They are attacked constantly by our jihadi neighbors. None of that gets reported in the news. Regardless, They do not run. More and more of them keep coming, and more hilltops keep filling. It is unbelievable.
Unfortunately, we see how the political and Jewish leadership around the world does not back them. Instead they are being thrown them under the bus, as if they are the problem. The good news, this young generation does not care.
That is the beautiful thing. We have a generation that has woken up. They are doing what the Jewish people are meant to do: bring goodness and holiness to God’s holy land, and stop the spread of jihadi evil, even when our own leaders and army, despite all the good they do, still fall short.
Hopefully soon the authorities and the army will finally act as they are supposed to act, so these hilltop youth and young families can live normal lives, knowing the army is finally actually deterring an enemy jihadi population so that all of our lives can be safe.
We are not there yet. That is frustrating. But every day we are getting closer.

| 7 | This weekend the jihadi village of Qusra was back in the news. The framing was familiar: Jews accused of violence. “Settler extremists.” The usual script. Again.
Remember, I spoke about this issue last week as well, calling out those who were despicably calling Jews “terrorists” for retaliating against jihadi evil.
Now let’s look even closer at what’s going on.
The jihadis attacked Jews, again. Then Jews retaliated, again. And the media blames Jews for violence, again. That sequence is not a detail. It is the whole story the media refuses to tell. And our leaders, even the governments spokesperson doesn’t tell.
And even that is not the real story. There are four bigger stories almost nobody is talking about.
#1. These young Jews are filling a vacuum the army left open.
Jewish retaliation in places like Qusra is not the first choice of a healthy nation. It is what happens when the IDF fails at its real job: making the enemy afraid to attack Jews in the first place.
Stop the attacks before they happen — because this is a jihadi population. The army does not do that. It steps in only after a terror attack, or when intelligence flags a specific planned attack. Too late, or too narrow. It ignores the central fact: the jihadi population of Judea and Samaria as a whole is the enemy, and it must be stopped and deterred before it attacks innocent Jews.
People hear “the strongest army in the Middle East” and assume the streets of jihadi towns in Judea and Samaria are filled with fear of that army. They are not. The restrictive rules of engagement taught the jihadi population in Judea and Samaria a different lesson. Attack Jews, and the IDF and Israeli government system will often treat the Jewish response as the scandal.
So no, it is not normal that ordinary Jews, including hilltop youth, should have to step in and make the enemy pay a price. That is the state’s job. Until the army treats the jihadi population as an enemy population and puts real deterrence into those villages, do not be shocked when Jews who live under fire refuse to be sitting ducks. They are reacting the way any normal person should act when the authorities and the army are dropping the ball.
#2. This is a war over land and the Palestinain authority has been winning it for 30 years.
There is a systematic struggle for empty land in Judea and Samaria, and there is a lot of empty land. The Palestinian Authority, backed by European Union money, has been spreading illegal construction throughout Judea and Samaria, including onto strategic mountain tops. For three decades the army largely watched.
Hilltop youth and young families have set up outposts and farms to stop this illegal land takeover to protect the Jewish population, because finally someone had to.
Returning to this specific incident, The house outside Qusra was not a random home. It was built specifically on a strategic mountain overlooking Jewish communities and the roads they travel. Leaving an illegally built outpost like that in place is not “coexistence.” It is a security failure. The Palestinian authority allowed the family to build the house there to terrorize the Jews below. Whoever holds that ridge holds eyes on all the Jewish life below.
#3. U.S. citizenship has become a weapon against Israel
The builder of that house has U.S. citizenship. His family has used that passport to pull in the U.S. embassy and the American government. This is a fairly new and very deliberate strategy: turn every local clash into an international incident, with US involvement, and squeeze Israeli policy in Judea and Samaria through pressure from Washington, even though Trump and US Akbassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, are very supportive of Israeli settlements in Judea and Samaria.
Netanyahu’s official government response has been to issue public apologies about “the occurrences” instead of standing up and saying the truth out loud: jihadi violence, illegal jihadi building on strategic land that endangers Jewish lives, and the cynical abuse of U.S. citizenship to manipulate American policy. | 318 |
| 8 |  October 7 must permanently change the equation.
Hamas cannot massacre Israelis and emerge believing the price was temporary. Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005. We know what followed.
Defeating Hamas means making sure October 7 can NEVER happen again.

| 9 | This morning, I watched the sun rise over these ancient hills after a full night of protecting Jewish life.
And tonight, with a backdrop of this stunning sunset, I’m back out on a different Judean hilltop.
So blessed. So grateful.
To wear the IDF uniform.
To protect Jewish families.
To stand guard over Jews rebuilding life in our biblical heartland.
And to do it on the very hills our ancestors walked thousands of years ago.
For nearly 2,000 years, our ancestors dreamed of returning here.
We are living their dream. We are living Jewish history. We are living the Geulah.
Never take it for granted.
So blessed to protect our God-given, indigenous, ancestral homeland.

| 12 | Watching the Sunrise Over Our Redemption…
There are moments when you can almost see Jewish histor and Jewish redemption unfolding before your eyes.
This morning, after spending the entire night in IDF uniform protecting a brand-new Jewish community in our beautiful ancestral Judean Hills, I watched the first light of sunrise begin to break over the mountains.
And I couldn't help thinking about the Torah portion we just read in synagogue this Shabbat, Parshat Ki Tavo:
“And it shall be, when you come into the Land that Hashem your God gives you as an inheritance, and you possess it and settle in it… (Devarim 26:1)
Not visit it.
Not merely dream about it from exile.
Inherit it. Settle it. Live in it.
But this Shabbat there was another powerful message of Geulah/redemption, the Haftarah from Yeshayahu, which begins with words that felt as if they were written for this very sunrise:
“קוּמִי אוֹרִי כִּי בָא אוֹרֵךְ, וּכְבוֹד ה׳ עָלַיִךְ זָרָח.” “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of Hashem has dawned upon you.”
Yeshayahu 60:1
Kumi Ori. Arise and shine. Your light has come.
These are words of Geulah, the prophet describing Jerusalem rising from darkness, her children returning home, and the nations witnessing her restoration.
And this Shabbat those words became intensely personal.
We celebrated the naming of our new granddaughter, the little girl who just made my wife and me grandparents for the very first time.
Another Jewish child. Another generation. Another link in an ancient chain, born back home in Eretz Yisrael.
Then, just hours later, I was spending the night protecting Jews building a brand-new community, one of over 100 new communities recently approved for development in these ancient hills of Judea and Samaria.
And now I am watching the sun rise.
It all suddenly came together:
A new granddaughter. A new generation. A new Jewish community. A Jewish soldier protecting Jewish life. And a new dawn breaking over Judea.
“Kumi Ori, ki va orech.”
This is what Geulah looks like.
Not necessarily one dramatic moment announcing that redemption has arrived. Geulah unfolds one Jewish baby at a time. One family at a time. One new community at a time. One soldier standing guard through the night at a time.
And one sunrise at a time.
Ki Tavo reminds us who gave us this Land and why we must never forget our story. The Haftarah reminds us where that story is ultimately heading: the return, rebuilding and light of the Jewish people in our homeland.
Our ancestors dreamed of these moments for thousands of years.
We are not merely studying the prophecies of Geulah anymore.
We have the unbelievable privilege of living them.
Thank You, Hashem, for allowing us to witness, and participate in, the unfolding redemption of the Jewish people in our God-given, indigenous, ancestral homeland.

| 15 | They are part of a story that began with Avraham Avinu.
They are descendants of a people whom Hashem took out of Egypt.
They belong to the nation that stood at Sinai.
They are living in the Land promised to their ancestors.
And they have been given the unbelievable privilege of participating in the return of the Jewish people to our ancestral homeland.
But with that privilege comes responsibility.
To know our story.
To teach our story.
To thank Hashem for our story.
To defend our Land.
To build it.
To live according to the values Hashem gave us.
And to understand that what we do here matters.
Ki Tavo is ultimately telling us something incredibly simple and incredibly profound:
Know where you came from.
Know Who brought you here.
Know whose Land this is.
Know what is expected of you now that you have returned.
Our ancestors spent nearly two thousand years praying for the privilege that our generation wakes up with every morning.
May we never take it for granted.
May we teach our children to understand it.
And may we be worthy of transforming our miraculous return to Eretz Yisrael into the blessing Hashem always intended it to be.
Am Yisrael Chai, back home, in the Land that Hashem promised us!

| 16 | The Torah isn't speaking only about the spiritual life of individual Jews.
It is speaking about the destiny of the Jewish nation living in its Land.
And then come the frightening curses of the Tochachah.
Here there is a fascinating insight that is especially powerful for our generation.
The Ramban analyzes the Torah's two great passages of national curses, the first in Parshat Bechukotai, Vayikra 26, and the second here in Ki Tavo, Devarim 28.
He argues that they correspond remarkably to the two great destructions and exiles of Jewish history.
The curses of Bechukotai correspond to the destruction of the First Temple and Babylonian exile. The Ramban points to details such as idolatry, the desolation of the Sanctuary and the Land making up its neglected Sabbatical years, all features associated with the First Temple period.
The curses of Ki Tavo, he explains, correspond to the destruction of the Second Temple and the long Roman exile. He points, among other things, to the Torah's description of a distant nation whose language Israel does not understand, the scattering of Jews “from one end of the earth to the other,” and Jews being carried away in ships.
Think about that.
Two Tochachot/curses.
Two destructions.
Two exiles.
And there is no third Tochachah/curses in the Torah describing a third national destruction and exile.
Rabbi Yoel Bin-Nun develops precisely this implication from the Ramban: after the ingathering of the exiles described in Nitzavim, the Torah can still foresee suffering and terrible challenges, but it does not present a third destruction and exile parallel to the first two.
For those of us privileged to be living through the return of the Jewish people to our homeland after nearly 2,000 years, that is an incredibly comforting thought.
We are home.
Not visiting.
Not temporarily passing through.
Home.
But we must be very careful about what lesson we take from that.
Being home does not mean our actions no longer have consequences.
The message of Ki Tavo is not: Don't worry. Everything will be fine regardless of what we do.
Exactly the opposite.
The entire parsha screams:
Our choices matter.
Our choices as individuals matter.
Our choices as families matter.
And our choices as a sovereign Jewish nation matter.
That is one of the revolutionary truths of the Torah that modern Western thinking sometimes makes us uncomfortable acknowledging.
There is a God.
There are consequences.
There is blessing and there is curse.
There is right and there is wrong.
There is faithfulness to our mission and there is abandonment of our mission.
And all of it is connected to the Land.
That is why the parsha begins with entering the Land, continues with remembering our history in the Land, describes the blessings of national life in the Land, and warns about the consequences of abandoning our covenant in the Land.
Because Eretz Yisrael isn't an accessory to Jewish identity.
It is woven into Jewish identity itself.
Our generation is living the words of Ki Tavo.
Think about the generation we are privileged to live in.
For thousands of years Jews ended Pesach with “Next year in Jerusalem.”
They prayed toward Jerusalem.
They cried over Jerusalem.
They married remembering Jerusalem.
They buried their dead with earth from Eretz Yisrael.
Generations dreamed about something that we sometimes treat as ordinary.
And now?
Many of us are privileged to live here.
We wake up here.
Our children speak Hebrew.
We walk the hills where Avraham walked.
We drive into Jerusalem.
Jewish farmers once again cultivate the soil.
Jewish soldiers once again defend Jewish families.
Torah is being learned across the Land.
And millions of Jews have returned from the four corners of the earth.
“וַיְבִאֵנוּ אֶל הַמָּקוֹם הַזֶּה” — “He brought us to this place.”
Those aren't merely words describing something that happened thousands of years ago.
They are our story right now.
And that means our responsibility is enormous.
We must teach our children that they are not random people living in a random country. | 143 |
| 17 | Ki Tavo: We Have Begun to Come Home. Now We Must Remember Who We Are
There is something extraordinary about the opening words of Parshat Ki Tavo:
“וְהָיָה כִּי תָבוֹא אֶל הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר ה׳ אֱלֹקֶיךָ נֹתֵן לְךָ נַחֲלָה וִירִשְׁתָּהּ וְיָשַׁבְתָּ בָּהּ”
“And it shall be, when you come into the Land that Hashem your God gives you as an inheritance, and you possess it and settle in it…”— Devarim 26:1
Every word matters.
The Land of Israel is our נחלה — our inheritance.
We are commanded not merely to visit it, admire it, pray toward it from thousands of miles away, or treat it as a safe haven when life becomes uncomfortable elsewhere.
We are supposed to inherit it and live in it.
That is fundamental to understanding who we are as Jews.
Eretz Yisrael is not simply a nice place for Jews to live. It isn't merely a refuge from Jew-hating antisemitism. And Zionism was not begun by Herzl in Basel in 1897.
Our connection to this Land comes directly from Hashem and goes back thousands of years.
And Parshat Ki Tavo gives us an incredible lesson about how we are supposed to remember that.
Even when saying “thank you,” we are supposed to tell our story.
The Torah immediately introduces the mitzvah of Bikkurim.
A Jewish farmer works his land. His trees finally produce fruit. He takes the first fruits, travels to Jerusalem, enters the Beit HaMikdash and gives them to the Kohen.
You would expect him simply to say, “Thank You, Hashem.”
But that's not what the Torah tells him to say.
First he declares:
“הִגַּדְתִּי הַיּוֹם לַה׳ אֱלֹקֶיךָ כִּי בָאתִי אֶל הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר נִשְׁבַּע ה׳ לַאֲבֹתֵינוּ לָתֶת לָנוּ”
“I declare today to Hashem your God that I have come to the Land that Hashem swore to our fathers to give us.” — Devarim 26:3
And then he tells our story.
Our ancestors. Egypt. Our suffering. Our crying out to Hashem. Hashem taking us out with a strong hand. And then:
“וַיְבִאֵנוּ אֶל הַמָּקוֹם הַזֶּה וַיִּתֶּן לָנוּ אֶת הָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת”
“He brought us to this place, and He gave us this Land.”
— Devarim 26:9
That is incredible.
Even our gratitude must be rooted in our national story, with Israel at the center, because that is who we are.
The Torah understands something about human beings: if we forget where we came from, eventually we forget who we are.
And I believe this is one of the greatest challenges facing the Jewish people today.
Too many Jewish children are growing up without knowing their own story.
They know about universal values. They know about social justice. They may know about the Holocaust. They might know something about Israel's founding in 1948.
But do they know Avraham, Yitzchak and Yaakov?
Do they know that Hashem promised this Land to our ancestors?
Do they know that virtually all of the Jewish holidays are inherently connected to the land of Israel?
Do they understand that Egypt, the Exodus, Mount Sinai, Jerusalem and Eretz Yisrael are not disconnected episodes but one continuous story, and that they themselves are the next chapter?
If we don't teach our children our story, somebody else will teach them another story.
And then we shouldn't be surprised when Jewish children grow up believing that they are foreigners in their own ancestral homeland.
Ki Tavo says: Tell them the story. Again and again and again.
Even when bringing a basket of fruit, tell the story.
Because Jewish identity without Jewish memory cannot survive.
And Jewish memory is inseparable from Eretz Yisrael.
Then come the blessings and the curses…
Ki Tavo takes a dramatic turn.
The Torah describes extraordinary national blessings if we live according to our covenant with Hashem:
“בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה בָּעִיר וּבָרוּךְ אַתָּה בַּשָּׂדֶה”
“Blessed shall you be in the city and blessed shall you be in the field.”
— Devarim 28:3
And then:
“יִתֵּן ה׳ אֶת אֹיְבֶיךָ הַקָּמִים עָלֶיךָ נִגָּפִים לְפָנֶיךָ”
“Hashem will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you.”
— Devarim 28:7
Notice what the Torah is talking about.
Agriculture. Economy. Families. National prosperity. Enemies. War. Sovereignty. | 158 |
| 18 |  Why did Israel begin as such a secular state? History matters.
Secular Zionists built the institutions of modern Israel while many religious Jews remained deeply divided over Zionism.
We thank those who built the Jewish state. Now our generation must strengthen its Jewish spirit.
