Angel margin issue Angel margin data is showing incomplete on AutoTrader Web. This is due to a change in format by the broker. We are working on a fix & expect it to be ready by tomorrow.

Upstox Login Issues - We have noticed that we are getting errors for login of SOME upstox accounts - This is due to their cloudflare settings & restrictions - There is NO FIX for this unless upstox changes their cloudflare settings - The login automation with Upstox has very poor reliability In fact, these restrictions as well as the poor tech support is why we have always recommended NOT to use Upstox accounts. Our team is trying to find a workaround but we cannot promise much. You can login & check if your Upstox account is working fine or not.

Visual appearance changes - releasing tonight - Font has been changed for better readability - Footers have been added on Margins & Holdings tab. These footers will show column total - Orders tab has improved summary below the orders table - Summary 1 - Shows order count total by order status. Buy side, sell side & total orders - Summary 2 - Shows order [quantity] total by order status. Buy side, sell side & total orders

The issues are short lived and intermittent, please monitor carefully.

Motilal Oswal - Issues with their OPEN API Please report it to your broker, there is nothing that can be done on our end. Once the broker fixes the problem, the errors will go away.

Performance of the system We know at times users do see slowness on the system. Here, we have explained in this presentation the primary cause. https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1tbe4jVjzUqBNA1RRvNFP2xRxwVjAANZk/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=113357089088292211288&rtpof=true&sd=true - Primary cause is broker slowness, which is out of our hands - We use plenty of hardware such that the uses only touches about 60-70% in peak hours (during market start) - The servers are hosted in Google Cloud - Mumbai Data Center which gives the users fastest connectivity - Most of the code is optimized for speed with a request taking around 30 millis (0.03 seconds on avg.) on our side for processing. The remaining time is just spend in waiting for a response from your broker's server

Note: The quantity field will still take quantity in multiple of lot size. Nothing has changed in the quantity field, so do not get confused. Number of lots will be displayed on top of the quantity field. This is additional information for you. The plus / minus buttons will also increase the quantity by 1 lot. So if lot size is 25, then clicking plus button will increase quantity by 25. Try it tomorrow to get familiar.

Trade Screen - Optimization Changes Following changes are planned to make data entry and save your time. See screenshot below: 1. Display of lot size on TRADE screen is changed - New format: #Lots [Lot size] - #Lots => How many lots you are buying/selling - Lot size => The lot size for the derivative contract 2. Plus/Minus buttons for quantity - This will increase or decrease the quantity by 1 lot 3. The setting DEFAULT_QUANTITY under menu (Settings -> General) will be reset tonight - From tomorrow, this setting should represent number of lots - Example, if you set DEFAULT_QUANTITY = 2 (system will consider it as 2 lots) Note: Changes will go live tonight. We request you test & get familiar by placing some dummy orders. Notify us if you see any issues.

NSE Stocks (BE & SM series) From tomorrow, we will add support for symbols belonging to these 2 series for most of the brokers.

NSE - BE Series Stocks - Some users have requested support for these stocks - Due to inconsistency of these symbols across brokers, we have decided to add support only on those brokers which users need - If you are one of those who trades BE series stocks, please inform us which brokers do you use

MIDCPNIFTY freeze limit changed to 2800 from 4200 Although NSE website shows it as 4200, many brokers are restricting it to 2800. So users who faced errors in auto-splitting beyond freeze quantity for MIDCPNIFTY derivatives, should no longer face any issues.

Kotak Stock Symbol File Changes - Please note that Kotak has changed format of the symbol file. This has resulted in some symbols missing from our system. - We are working on the development to incorporate the new format & hopefully will be ready by Sunday night This is message is just for information, no action is needed from the user's side.

Windows Incident - This incident is reportedly affecting personal computers as well - An update is resulting in BSOD (Blue screen of death)... and it is going into a loop... effectively making your computer unusable Following TIP is for Windows Users - It makes logical sense to disable windows update for time being until the issue is resolved. - NOTE: We are just sending this information to help/safeguard our users & their personal computers. It may or may not be the perfect solution; but it makes logical sense to do so.

Microsoft services are affected worldwide - This has in turn affected many companies worldwide (including India) - It is not clear at the moment whether it is an attack or not - Those brokers depending on Microsoft services may be impacted due to this - Our servers are on Google Cloud and use LINUX based operating systems. There is no impact of this outage on our servers.
