Assange turns the story away from personalities. That is the core. If publishing the truth can bring alleged assassination plans and a hunt for a baby’s DNA, the target was never only Julian Assange. It was whether anyone is still allowed to expose the powerful without becoming the next name on the list. Journalism is not a crime.
