Carmel Kids brought smiles and encouragement to the residents at Lentor Home with a beautiful song based on Psalm 121:1-2. 🎵✨ "Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord."

If you found the sanctuary on Sunday at 9 am a little quieter than usual on a fourth Sunday, it might have been because Carmel Kids weren’t present that day. Instead, close to 100 kids, accompanied by their teachers and some parents, were on a local mission trip across the road from church, armed with flowers, gifts, handwritten cards of encouragement, and games. It was the first of Carmel Kids’ biannual visits to Lentor Health Nursing Home in 2026. There, the children were broken into groups, with each group visiting a ward and encouraging the residents in song, interactive games, and even flower arrangement. It might have been only an hour, but we pray that the children, as little ambassadors of Christ, brought love and joy to the residents that day.💙🙌🏻🧒👦

🎶 Join Us in Praising the Lord!   Reformation Weekend is coming on 24–25 October, and we’d love for you to join the choir as we present a special item to mark this significant occasion.   Reformation Sunday reminds us of the recovery of the gospel truths: Scripture alone, grace alone, faith alone, Christ alone, and to God’s glory alone. 🙏 Thank God for a fruitful Mission Festival Weekend! This year's theme, Embracing New Frontiers, seeks to expose and engage Carmelites to heed the Macedonian call. Through Rev Edmund Fong's sermon, the Mindanao Roundtable, missions sharing by Dr Tan Lai Yong, and conversations at the missions booths, it was encouraging to see keen interest in God's global mission through mission trips, learning journeys, prayer partnerships, and deeper engagement with missions. This weekend, we go deeper by highlighting Carmel's new partnership with CCI in Mindanao. Join us as Rev Yeoh Seng Eng, founder of CCI, shares about the work in Mindanao.
