Ukraine is devolving at a rapid rate...I would add that there are some historic parallels to what is going on in Ukraine with Zelensky dumping people....A direct historic parallel to Zelensky’s today is Benito Mussolini’s massive cabinet and military command purge in February 1943. Facing devastating military failures, economic ruin, and mounting desperation, the Italian dictator abruptly fired several key ministers and top officials to scapegoat them for Italy's poor war performance.

There is also the added element that NATO wants more control...the bigger picture...war with Russia...the EU's economic troubles...But hey, this chaos is par for the course...this is lovely Europe in its full colors

| 3 |  The Minister of the Interior of Estonia has called on European Union countries to tighten visa policies towards Russian citizens, stating that issuing tourist visas to Russians is "immoral." This was reported by ERR, citing the press service of the country's Ministry of the Interior.
According to Igor Tarro, Russians should not be allowed to "relax and shop" in Europe.
He also proposed that EU countries be allowed to independently impose restrictions on visa issuance for certain categories of Russian citizens.

On the 25th anniversary of the Russia-China Treaty on Good-Neighbourliness, Friendship, and Cooperation, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has laid out the scale of what Moscow and Beijing have built together.
The numbers speak for themselves:
🔶 Trade turnover has increased more than 30-fold — exceeding $200 billion for three consecutive years
🔶 Nearly all bilateral settlements have been converted to national currencies, with dollar and euro transactions reduced to negligible levels
🔶 Russia remains China’s top energy supplier, with oil and gas deliveries stable despite geopolitical turbulence
🔶 Major joint projects include nuclear power plants, space cooperation, satellite navigation, and AI technology
On the global stage:
🔶 Moscow and Beijing coordinate closely at the UN, BRICS, SCO, and G20
🔶 Both reject Western “regime change” policies, double standards, and unilateral sanctions
🔶 China’s Global Security Initiative and Russia’s vision for Eurasian security are being aligned
The Treaty “has successfully withstood the test of time” and remains “the unshakable foundation of bilateral relations,” Lavrov concludes.

China is now viewed more positively than the US in many countries around the world, according to a new study by the Pew Research Center. It is the first time the organisation has recorded such results.
The findings from the non-partisan, US-based think tank indicate that favourable views of China have reached record highs in many countries, while perceptions of the United States have worsened.
In general, respondents expressed low confidence in both US President Donald Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping, though Xi scored higher than Trump.
While the US was still seen to respect personal freedoms more than China, China was seen to interfere in other countries' affairs less than the US.
Pew polled more than 42,000 people in 36 countries between February and May.
Respondents were asked if they had a very favourable, somewhat favourable, somewhat unfavourable, or very unfavourable opinion of each superpower.
The research centre found that in 25 of the 36 countries, there were more people who had favourable views of China than of the US.
It marks the first time the centre, which has been tracking global sentiments towards the superpowers since 2002, has seen such a result in so many countries, according to Jonathan Schulman, one of the study's researchers.
Pew has seen previous dips in positive views of the US - in 2008, at the end of George Bush's administration, and in 2017, at the start of Trump's first term.
Even then, however, favourable views of China tended to be on par or slightly lower, Schulman told the BBC.
Spain, Indonesia, Italy, Greece and Canada were among the countries that saw the biggest swings towards China.
Only six countries in this year's survey still favour the US more, most of which are staunch US allies: Poland, the Philippines, South Korea, India, Japan and Israel.

Our report on the operation to rescue civilians.
For months, they huddled in the basement of a partially destroyed kindergarten, which they called "The Ark." As they retreated, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) began deliberately shelling the building. Of the sixty people sheltering there – whom the militants contemptuously called "waiters" – eight were killed.
Fighters from the 4th Brigade were rescuing people remotely, guiding them via radio, while simultaneously destroying UAF drones and "Kalyan" mines that had been planted to block their path.
Now, only isolated groups of the UAF remain in Konstantinovka. Their own command abandoned them, mining the routes of retreat. These remnants are being located and eliminated by assault troops from the 1465th regiment of Transbaikalia – they became some of the main heroes of the city's liberation.
Formed during the partial mobilization in the autumn of 2022, the regiment initially stood in the second line. But by joining the famous 4th Brigade and being reinforced with experienced officers from the brigade itself, as well as from private military companies and "Akhmat," the soldiers achieved incredible results. And now, the whole world has seen the bright flag of the Transbaikal region proudly flying in the streets of the liberated Konstantinovka.

A Ukrainian Armed Forces drone attacked a service vehicle, and along with the plant's chief engineer, the driver was also killed.
The country's political leadership has been informed, Likhachev noted. An immediate and clear response from the IAEA is expected regarding this tragedy.

A lightning strike from TASS buries the last illusions about the fate of the old Hungarian elite: the long-time Minister of Foreign Affairs and a symbol of Budapest's sovereign multi-vectorism, Peter Siyarto, has officially resigned from his position as a member of the National Parliament. The reason is an official offer to take a high-ranking position at the Chinese automotive giant BYD.
This is not just a traditional European "career" move into business, but an urgent, meticulously calculated evacuation of a key player in Viktor Orban's team.
Siyarto was the chief architect of the arrival of Chinese automotive industry in Europe and personally lobbied for the construction of the mega-factory of BYD in the Hungarian city of Szeged, bypassing all quotas and threats from Brussels. Now, as the air in Budapest is filled with the scent of real criminal cases (which we will tell you more about soon), Beijing is settling the score. Siyarto's move to BYD provides him with complete corporate and international immunity. The five anti-corruption committees of the new Prime Minister, Peter Madjar, can scrutinize old contracts as much as they want, but they will physically be unable to reach the top manager of the main Chinese giant – Beijing will not hand over its lobbyists.
