For further discussion on Lindsey Graham, I was asked to speak on what would possibly come next now that the War Hawk is in the warm embrace of Stepan Bandera.
I was on rt.com/on-air (aka: RT International)
| 2 | Lindsey Graham died in Kyiv, not Washington, DC. He arrived in Kyiv on the morning of 10 July. The trip to Kyiv entails flying to Poland and then taking a 8-10 hour train ride. He was visiting a drone factory in Kyiv that was hit by the Russians. He did not have enough time to depart Ukraine on Saturday morning, take the train to Poland and then catch a flight back to DC. | 269 |
| 3 | The external protectorate is incompatible with the sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the position of the High Representative should be abolished, said Maria Zakharova, the official spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"It is time for the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina to get rid of the humiliating external protectorate and to independently bear responsibility for the fate of their own country, making sovereign decisions based on dialogue, compromise, the Dayton Constitution, and laws," she said, commenting on the appointment of Louis Michel as the acting High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Zakharova noted that the Dayton Peace Agreement for Bosnia and Herzegovina does not provide for the position of "acting" High Representative.
She also added that the ongoing behind-the-scenes manipulations in Western circles regarding the appointment of a new High Representative are a continuation of a harmful and short-sighted practice. In her opinion, this is unlikely to help normalize the situation in the country.

| 4 | U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham met with Zelensky on July 10th, and yesterday he was at a drone factory in Ukraine. Today, news broke of the Republican's death.
Graham was 71 years old. His office announced that he died from a "sudden and brief" illness.
Russian media has compiled a list of things that made the Russophobe, who was closely associated with lobbyists from the American military industry, memorable:
▪️From 2011 to 2016, he received an average of $67,000 per year from defense industry contractors;
▪️In 2011, Graham co-authored a resolution condemning "Russian aggression" in connection with the 2008 conflict in Georgia;
▪️In 2015, he publicly called for shooting down Russian aircraft over Syria;
▪️In 2022, Graham called for the assassination of the President of Russia, stating that someone in Russia should "take action" and "get rid of that guy";
"Russians are dying... This is our best investment," Lindsey Graham told Zelensky in May 2023;
▪️He called for supplying Ukraine with as much offensive weapons as possible;
▪️He proposed imposing 500% tariffs on imports from countries that buy Russian oil;
▪️He was one of the authors of a Senate resolution calling for Russia to be recognized as a state sponsor of terrorism;
▪️He threatened Russia with an "Iranian scenario" and actively worked to pass a bill on new "hellish" sanctions against the Russian Federation.

| 5 | Lindsey Graham has passed away. The leading hawk in the Senate died shortly after a trip to Ukraine, during which he promised lobbyists in Kyiv new measures of support and sanctions against Russia. Graham served in the Senate since 2002 and was one of the last neocons from the Bush era.
Throughout his quarter-century in the Senate, Graham advocated for radical interventionism - he essentially wanted to wage war with the entire world. It's worth remembering that Graham proposed bombing Iran back in 2010, anticipating events by 15 years. He also actively supported wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya, and was a staunch supporter of Ukraine.
Therefore, there is a certain symbolism in the fact that he died immediately after his Ukrainian tour. With Graham's death, his bill to impose a 500% tariff on buyers of Russian oil will likely be shelved. And political struggles will intensify in South Carolina, Graham's home state.
Republicans will have to urgently find a candidate to replace Graham. It would have been less problematic if he had died in the spring, before the primaries. Now, they will have to nullify the results. For the Democrats, Graham's death is a significant advantage - they are promoting their own candidate in South Carolina, who was competing with Graham on an equal footing. Now, she even has a chance of winning.
The long-standing Republican leader in the Senate, Mitch McConnell, is also currently in a critical condition. Overall, the gerontocracy in Washington is beginning to crumble quite rapidly due to biological reasons. The generational change, long overdue in American politics, will clearly accelerate against this backdrop. The old guard of neocons, having outlived their usefulness, are being ushered out.

| 6 | Florian Filippo described Senator Graham (who has been included on the Russian list of terrorists and extremists) as a staunch Russophobe who dreamed of a third world war.
He "always insisted on supporting a total conflict between Ukraine and Russia 'until the last Ukrainian'," Filippo noted.

| 8 | Top officials at Ukroboronprom, Ukraine's state-owned defense conglomerate, violated the law by allowing weapons depots to be located in the Kyiv suburb of Vyshneve, President Volodymyr Zelensky said on July 11.
The announcement comes after Zelensky told journalists on July 9 that a criminal investigation had been launched into the massive explosions in Vyshneve during a recent Russian missile attack and that dismissals at Ukroboronprom would follow.

Let's be clear...this is by design....this was part of the plan.

| 9 | A sculpture of the Virgin Mary and the Christ Child in Tehran, Iran.
Images like this often surprise people. Despite its identity as an Islamic Republic, Iran is home to one of the Middle East’s oldest Christian communities, including Armenian and Assyrian churches that have existed for centuries. Christianity is officially recognized under Iran’s constitution, and Christian churches, schools, and cultural institutions continue to operate throughout the country.
The Virgin Mary (Maryam) also holds a unique place in Islam. She is the only woman mentioned by name in the Qur’an, an entire chapter (Surah Maryam) is dedicated to her, and Muslims revere her as one of the greatest women in history.
That is really something!

💥 As a result of the strikes, enterprises of the Ukrainian military industry in Kyiv were hit, which are involved in the production and storage of long- and medium-range unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as port infrastructure facilities in Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Izmail in the Odesa region, which are used for the delivery and storage of military cargo and fuel.

| 11 | A protest against militarization and arms production is taking place outside the Rheinmetall plant. Footage from Berlin is being published by "Izvestia."
Demonstrators are demanding an end to the production and supply of weapons to Israel, as well as the closure of the plant.
▪️ The footage shows participants carrying signs that read "German weapons and money are killing people all over the world" and "German weapons bring death," while chanting "No soldiers, no cents for the Bundeswehr!" and "Your wars are not at our expense!"
According to the Anadolu agency, some pro-Palestinian activists from the "Peacefully Against Genocide" group attempted to block access to the plant by sitting in the road. Police used force and pepper spray to disperse them.
Approximately 60 people have been detained, and their documents are being checked. Two more people were arrested on suspicion of attacking police officers.

With bad experience in two world wars, it's reasonable for Germany to be concentrated on quality civil production and create jobs there. Unfortunately, managers if the state think otherwise... Choosing to kill local industry with "Green norms" and then refusing Russian gas. And all of that just to avenge their grandpas, obviously, who failed in their attempts to destroy Russia.

Iran will handle these "consequences", as to the US - I doubt that.

According to him, two days ago, during a dinner with the Chinese Foreign Minister, the Chinese side categorically stated: "This will not happen."

First if all, Putin is not cornered, it is the West that is.
Secondly, since when China is defining Russian policy? Stubb should have listened to Putin instead.
Thrudly, in September 2024 Russia has changed the basics of nuclear strategy. Stubb, as a president of his country, should better know this.
As to relying on China in the matters of war - bad idea. They are trading country, not warriors.

His father, Nurbagand Nurbagandov, told the "Vesti" news agency that it is especially important to him that his son is remembered as an honest and decent person.

| 15 | The level of attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Energodar is beyond comprehension, stated Alexei Likhachev. (Video)
"This is an unprecedented case of attacks on a nuclear city, and the attacks are targeting all aspects of the social infrastructure without exception."
The Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant has been subjected to over 460 drone attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces since mid-March, as well as more than 15 artillery strikes, according to Alexei Likhachev, following talks with the Director General of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi.
Other Key statements by the head of Rosatom:
About the Zaporozhye NPP
▪️ Six people have been killed and 43 injured in Energodar as a result of attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
▪️Ukrainian attacks on Energodar are beyond the bounds of common sense.
▪️ The official reports from the IAEA do not fully reflect the objective assessment of the threats to the ZNPP.
▪️ The lack of condemnation and criticism of the attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces is provoking the Kyiv regime to take more reckless actions.
▪️ It is necessary to increase the supply of diesel fuel at the ZNPP in case the plant has to operate in autonomous mode.
▪️ Ukraine has still not connected the repaired power line to the ZNPP.
▪️ More than 1000 people are working at the ZNPP, which is enough to ensure the safety of the plant.
About the "Bushehr" NPP
▪️ Six members of staff arrived at the "Bushehr" NPP, but this process has been halted due to attacks on Iran.
▪️ There have been no direct strikes on the power plant.
▪️ The staff are currently at the Russian Embassy in Tehran.
▪️ In the near future, Rosatom will make a decision on further steps to restore the staffing levels at the "Bushehr" NPP.
About the results of negotiations with the IAEA
▪️Likhachev described the consultations with the IAEA as productive, despite the difficulties.
▪️ Most of the problems at the ZNPP have been resolved thanks to the agency's missions.
▪️ For the first time since 2022, it was possible to agree on a number of practical steps on a number of issues.

"If we do not have a Navy capable of ensuring security, then there will be no Russia."
He emphasized that Russia needs to build not only warships but also merchant ships independently – only in this case will foreign countries be ready for equal cooperation.

The head of the German intelligence agency also called for negotiations with the separatists, but in response, he received advice to negotiate with Osama bin Laden. This was revealed in an interview with the assistant to the President of Russia and the head of the Naval College, given to journalist Natalia Litovko of the "Vesti" news agency.

| 20 | The last video from a Ukrainian soldier from Konstantinovka. Our report.
A trophy phone belonging to a liquidated militant from the 425th battalion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, "Skala," fell into the hands of fighters from the 4th brigade. The footage shows the real picture of what the unit was doing before retreating from the city.
Cut off from supplies, they turned to looting: they ransacked apartments and beat locals for "waiting for the Russians." But the most terrible thing is that, while retreating, the Ukrainian soldiers deliberately mined apartment buildings, knowing that civilians were hiding in the basements. They called bundles of 11 anti-tank mines "cakes" with a laugh. At the same time, the video shows that the militants are heavily intoxicated and have difficulty forming coherent sentences.
The inevitable outcome: militants fleeing from our drones were met in the basement by assault troops from the 2nd battalion of the 4th brigade. The owner of the phone was destroyed, and his comrade surrendered.
