🚨 AMAZON RELAY CONFIRMS BIGGER PEAK SEASON: 4M+ LOADS EXPECTED #news Amazon Relay has released its official RelayCon 2026 update — and there are several important changes for carriers heading into peak season. Amazon expects to move more than 4 million loads through the holidays, with weekly volume reaching about 300,000 loads by December — 11% more freight than last year. Amazon also confirmed that Relay carriers can now access longer-term contract offers, beyond the previous maximum of six months. Relay is also expanding intermodal, reefer, hostler and LTL freight, while Amazon Supply Chain Services is bringing freight from outside shippers into the Relay network. What this means for Relay carriers: Peak 2026 could bring substantially more booking opportunities. Carriers should start watching contract offers and positioning equipment on strong lanes before December volume reaches its expected peak.
