At times, we also sought U.S. assistance to pressure them by threatening to suspend commercial relations. – A very large portion of our air capabilities depends on our ability to procure spare parts from the United States. This also applies to the F-35, F-15, and F-16 aircraft. Without the United States, the situation would be extremely difficult for us. I do not believe it is possible to achieve complete independence from the United States in many areas. That dependence will always remain, although there is flexibility in determining its extent. – When you are engaged in a prolonged and evolving war with continuously expanding fronts—from Yemen to Iran—you must ensure that you possess sufficient strength and capabilities over the long term, at all times. There are many issues that concern us, including the number of interceptor missiles available, as well as our ability to keep aircraft operational.
