🎓In this edition of Faces of MRSU, we sat down with Khushi Vishwakarma, a 5th-year medical student at MRSU from India , to learn more about her journey, experiences, and advice for fellow international students. 🩺Why did you choose the institute of Medicine? I chose medicine because I have always been passionate about helping people. Since childhood, I dreamed of becoming a doctor who could make a positive difference in people’s lives. The Institute of Medicine at MRSU provides not only strong theoretical knowledge but also valuable practical experience that helps us grow both professionally and personally. 🎓Why did you choose Russia and MRSU? I chose Russia because of its strong reputation in medical education and because I wanted to experience a completely different culture and environment. MRSU attracted me because of its experienced professors, affordable education, and welcoming atmosphere for international students. I believed it would provide both quality education and valuable life experience—and it certainly has. 🔝What do you enjoy most about your university life? What I appreciate most is the support I receive from my teachers, the diversity of the student community, and the practical learning opportunities. I also enjoy living in the city; it is peaceful, clean, and student-friendly. Experiencing Russia’s changing seasons, especially winter and snowfall, has been something completely new and unforgettable for me. Along the way, I have enjoyed learning about Russian traditions, food, language, and culture while making friends from different countries. 🎓What advice would you give to international students? Stay confident, open-minded, and ready to learn something new every day. Moving away from home and adapting to a new culture can feel challenging at first, but with time it becomes an unforgettable journey of growth and self-discovery. I encourage students to communicate with local people, participate in university activities, and build meaningful friendships. ⚡️ Where Engineering Meets Innovation: A New Industry-Focused Classroom Opens at Ogarev MRSU 🎓 Turning theory into practice — and practice into quality education! Today, the Institute of Mechanics and Energy at Ogarev Mordovia State University officially opened a new branded classroom established in partnership with the Mordovian branch of T Plus PJSC. 🔝The project was launched within the framework of the T Plus Core Universities Association development program, which MRSU joined in 2024. ⚛️ The classroom is equipped with modern research and laboratory systems that allow students and researchers to study: • heat transfer during fluid flow in pipes, • liquid viscosity at different temperatures, • and thermal power transfer in various heat exchangers.
