🏢MRSU International Students Celebrate the Russian language day 🇷🇺 📚Every year on the 6th of June Russia celebrates the birth of Alexander Pushkin and Russian Language Day. To celebrate this occasion, MRSU International students presented a number of works under the supervision of their teacher Alina Yurievna. 👀 During the lesson our international students acquainted with the history of the Russian language, the works of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin, his most famous fairy tales, and discovered similarities with the fairy tales of India! 🙂The winner of the RCT Olympics, Camilla Sun, read an excerpt from the poem “Ruslan and Lyudmila”. For more fun, our Indian students conducted an experiment! They prepared some questions about Pushkin's works, which were asked randomly in the university building. And at the end of the open lesson Sneyha prepared a musical gift for participants. #mrsu #International_students

🔥RUSSIAN LANGUAGE DAY🔥 👍 🔤🔤🔤🔤🔤🔤🙂 🇷🇺Every year on June 6th, Russian Language Day celebrates the seventh most spoken language in the world. The day also honors Aleksandr Pushkin, a Russian poet who is considered the father of modern Russian literature.💅 ➡️There are over 150 million native speakers of Russian in the world making it the most spoken language in Europe. There are also about 113 million non-native Russian speakers. Altogether, there are 267 million people in the world who speak Russian.🇷🇺 📌Here are some other interesting facts about the Russian language: ✔️The Russian alphabet has 33 letters. ✔️There are only 500,000 words in the Russian language. ✔️Of these 500,000 words only about 2,500 are used frequently. ✔️Russian is called an “International Language of Space” and astronauts need to learn the language on the international space station. ✔️The closest relatives to this language are Ukrainian and Belarusian. 🔥Russian is one of the official languages of the United Nations. Other official languages of the UN include Arabic, Chinese, English, French, and Spanish. 🌍The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) founded Russian Language Day in 2010. Their goal is to celebrate multilingualism and promote equal use of the UN’s six official languages. UNESCO chose June 6th to commemorate Aleksandr Pushkin’s birthday. 📚Russia, Pushkin, and Love 🪶 📚 Every year Pushkin Day is celebrated in Russia on June 6th. The literary creativity of the great Russian poet Aleksandr Sergeev Pushkin leads us through our whole lives. His creations unite people of all ages, religions, nationalities, and are translated into tens of languages around the world. 📤Aleksandr Pushkin is often named the founder of modern Russian literary language. No matter how difficult his works are for translations, the poet has his admirers in almost every corner of our world. 💓In honor of the writer’s 225th anniversary, a reading marathon of Pushkin’s works will be held at MRSU. 🗣When: June 6th 🔔 7:00 pm 📌 Where: 17th floor - on the observation deck- first campus. (We will met downstairs at the main entrance!) 🔥After the reading marathon you will have the opportunity to enjoy the most beautiful views from the highest building in the city. #mrsu #International_students

🏢MRSU UNIVERSITY IS AMONG THE BEST AGAIN ☄️ 🔥The RAEX agency has published the subject rankings of Russian universities in 2024.The ranking combines the independent assessments of universities in Russia providing a single scale for assessing the institutions. 🔝The  MRSU university has been ranked as one of the best of the best in the following areas : 🗣"Architecture" second place. 🗣“Engineering and construction technologies” first place. 🗣“Electricity and heat power engineering”,  fourth place. 🗣“Land Transport Engineering and Technology” third place. 🗣“Economics and management” second place. 🗣"Linguistics and Literary Studies" eleventh place. 🗣"History and Archaeology". eighth place place. 📊In total, 170 universities from 43 regions of Russia entered the list of the best in 2024, and this year the number of subject areas has increased to 36. 🔊Subject rankings are based on an assessment of the university's three missions that are used to evaluate education, science, and social value.
