In Week 32, a total of 140 new suspected cases were reported, along with 4 new confirmed cases and 1 new confirmed death.
In Week 33, 151 new suspected cases, 14 confirmed cases and 2 confirmed deaths were recorded, with cases reported across 23 states and 117 Local Government Areas (LGAs).
While the number of confirmed cases seems to fluctuate, the continued detection of cases and deaths reinforces the need for constant vigilance, early detection and prompt response.
