So I was going through my Facebook account yesterday and yeah people do really change. The Facebook era shall never be spoken of.

I wonder how many young people have mindsets about marriage like this. ስንቱስ ነው ደግሞ ትዳር ከድብደባ ጋር እንደሚመጣ ሲማር ያደገ? This is what the other girls said to her before she left “ነገ የሚሆነው አይታወቅ እንደዚህ የተፀየፍሽው ድህነት እና ቡጢ የዕለት ቀለብሽ ቢሆንስ?" በነገራችን ላይ አስተሳሰባችንን ከየትም አናመጣውም...ካደግንበት ቤት...ከኖርንበት ሰፈር...ዙርያችን ካሉ ሰዎች እንጂ:: What does this little conversation tell you about the environment this girl grew up in?

ቅዳሜም አይደል? It’s not anything to new to have at least one person from campus coming back to the dorms drunk/high. Starting from how their friends struggle to get them through the gates without being caught to keeping them silent and locked in the dorms so the proctors won’t catch them is a very entertaining show, really. Though my heart breaks for the life they live when I sit and think about it. So this girl next to our dorm comes back a little high right? Her stop is our room and she just sat on the table “500k ከሚከፈለው ወንድ እና 500br ከሚከፈለው ወንድ የቱን ታገቢያለሽ?" question was directed at my dorm mates since I was pretending that I was busy studying. “የወደድኩትን ነዋ!" replies one of them. High girl cackles with her whole body “የዚህ ዘመን ልጅ ሆነሽ ፍቅር አለ ብዬ አምናለሁ በዪኝ እና ራሴን ላጥፋ" at this my whole attention activates to the conversation. “እንዴ ለምን የለም? አንቺ ራስሽ እንዴት እንደዚህ ታስብያለሽ?" All the girls yell at her. “በጣም የምኮራበት አስተሳሰቤ ነው ባይዝዌ *enter Cardi B’s laugh here*” Now she’s walking from one corner of the room to the other and with “ዋግዋን ብራዘር" as a pause for her walks. I wanted to ask her more questions but I didn’t want to indulge myself so I was praying for one of them to say something. “አይ ግን ገንዘብ ኖረውም አልኖረውም ከወደድኩት በቂ ነው" "አዎ 500 ብር አይደለም ለምን እልም ያለ ደሃ አይሆንም" The girls keep trying to convince her, but I noticed it isn’t some random mindset she found lying around but it’s far deep rooted in her that it’s not possible to change her beliefs like this. እውነትም ሆድ ያባውን ብቅል(weed in this case) ያወጣዋል:: Here’s what proves my theory “አዪ ከእናንተ ጋር ስልጡን ህዝብ በመባሌ አዝናለሁ...ለማንኛውም ደሃ ይርበዋል እንጂ ፍቅር አያውቅም...ባለ 500ብርሽን አግቢና ለአስቤዛ እምጣ አታምጣ እያልሽ ተደባደቢ ሲጀመር ባገባሽው ሁለተኛ ቀን ይደበድብሽ የለ? *Cardi B’s laugh again” She leaves and everyone forgets the conversation ever happened , but I’m still processing it.
