"I have a good opinion of 'the All-Powerful,' and I pray...
He who, when He says 'Be' to something, it happens.
Every sorrow—if You are pleased, my lord..
dissolves, and every distress becomes easy."

{ ومن الناس من يشتري لهو الحديث ليضل عن سبيل الله }
Translation: Among the people is he who trades in distracting tales to mislead others from the way of Allaah…
Ibn Mas’ud: Wallahi, by the one besides Whom there is no other god, this means singing!

Hardship does not last, and the relief of Allah is certain. From the wisdom of Allah is that He tests whom He wills by sending hardship upon them—will they be patient or will they despair? Then He removes it from them to test them again—will they be grateful or will they be ungrateful?
Every hardship is followed by relief. ʿAbdullāh ibn Shubruma al-Ḍabbī رحمه الله, who was among the jurists of the Tābiʿīn and their righteous, used to say when hardship befell him: “A cloud, then it clears.”

Hour of Response on Friday is like Laylatul Qadr of Ramadan
Imam Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah)
Friday is a day of worship.
Friday in comparison to other days is like the month of Ramadan to other months.
The Hour of Response (sa’aat al-istijabah) on Friday is like the Night of the Decree in (the blessed month of) Ramadan.
[Zaad al-Ma’aad (The Provision for the Hereafter), 1/386, Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah)]

The Prophet of Allah (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Fridays will be adorned with light from that Friday to the next.

The Prophet of Allah (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:
Whoever recites Surah Al-Kahf on Friday will have a light for him between this Friday and the next.

Abu Sa’id al-Khudri (radiyAllahu ‘anhu) reported:
The Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said,
“Whoever recites Surat al-Kahf on Friday, a light will shine for him between this Friday and the next.”

I was reading the biography of Talha ibn Ubaydullah, and this word captivated me:
"His hand was paralysed from the injury he sustained while protecting the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) on the day of Uhud."
Allāh! How beautiful is that sacrifice, and how great it is in the eyes of Allāh.

Shaykh Rabee’ al-Madkhali رحمه الله said:
"From the signs of the Hour is that people will not only abandon the senior scholars but they will also seek knowledge from the young, ignorant Mutaʿālim (i.e., someone who feigns knowledge), which is a calamity."

Imām Ibn Bāz — may Allah have mercy upon him — said:
“And whoever preserves his time with the remembrance of Allah, and the recitation of the Qur’an, and the companionship of the righteous, and staying away from the companionship of the heedless and the wicked, his heart becomes good and soft.
Allah, the Most High, said: “Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.”” (Ar-Raʿd 13:28).

The Effects of Sins on a Person
ʿAllāmah Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyyah (d. 751 AH) رحمه الله said:
Sins cause the heart to die, or bring a person close to destruction—at the very least, they weaken him. This weakness continues to grow until a person is deprived of the qualities from which the Prophet ﷺ used to seek refuge, namely:
1: anxiety,
2: grief,
3: helplessness,
4: laziness,
5: miserliness,
6: cowardice,
7: being burdened by debt, and
8: being overpowered by others.

Ask Allah anything and everything you want, no matter how big or small it may seem to you, or how difficult and impossible it is for you due to your limited knowledge and understanding, or how and in what manner it will be executed. Make Dua with assurance that it will be answered; not just mumbling carelessly the Duas you have learnt ages ago, and just repeating everyday as a habit. You will never take a broken hearted dua to the throne of His Majesty, except that He will return it to you with a miracle that will heal your innermost core.🤍🤍

‘Abdullah ibn Mas‘ūd (رضي الله عنه) said:
“You are passing through the course of night and day with lifespans that are steadily decreasing, while your deeds are being preserved and death comes suddenly. Whoever sows good will soon harvest joy, and whoever sows evil will soon harvest regret. Every sower will reap what he has sown. The slow one will not be overtaken in his allotted share, nor will the eager attain what has not been decreed for him. Whoever is given good, it is Allah who has given it to him, and whoever is protected from evil, it is Allah who has protected him. The people of taqwā are leaders, and the scholars are guides, and sitting with them brings increase.”

The hardships of a servant are such that whenever he goes to a door seeking relief, he finds it tightly shut, and nothing goes smoothly for him. He goes to the door of work and finds it closed, he knocks on the doors of businesses and finds them closed, he knocks on the doors of people and finds them closed. He remains in distress and worries, knocking on the doors of traders and benefactors. Worse still, he knocks on the door of Allah with frequent supplication, but finds it closed, and may Allah protect us. And the reason for this is what?
It is nothing but sins and disobedience. Just as when a servant fears Allah, He makes things easier for him, likewise, when the servant disobeys his Lord, Allah makes things difficult and burdensome for him, which he feels within himself.
That is why the affairs of the righteous, praise and gratitude be to Allah, are facilitated, both outwardly and inwardly. They do not face anything without Allah opening the doors of goodness for them. Allah showers them with the blessings of the heavens and opens for them the goodness and blessings of the earth.
As for the people of sins and disobedience, they do not knock on a door except they find it closed. When you knock on doors and find them closed, know that it is due to a sin or disobedience you have committed and insisted upon. You must address this by frequent repentance and humility before Allah, the Almighty.

The greatest heartbreak & blessing at the same time to ever exist is to disobey a Lord who's ready to forgive you for something you can't even forgive yourself for .
