🎀How To Be Feminine On Social Media🎀 🎀 Don’t post pictures of yourself EVEN as a niqabi. You’re meant to be hidden yā ukthī, not seen by strangers/non mahram men. Please also avoid taking pictures with your back facing the camera - with this “aesthetic/nature” background. Wallāhi it’s not cute and it doesn’t make sense at all when you really think about it. 🎀 Use flowers as a profile picture, it’s very feminine and classy. The same goes with different plants or sky/ocean pictures. Me personally I love flowers Alhamdulilāh. 🎀 Avoid mentioning your private life on social media, again be hidden. Nobody needs to know what you ate for dinner yesterday or what time you want to go to sleep tonight. Oversharing your private life or sharing it in general doesn’t bring you any good. Be mysterious ukthī. 🎀 Don’t follow or interact with the opposite gender on social media (especially on Instagram and Twitter, because one can easily dm you there). One innocent question like “who is this shaykh” (which you should avoid asking in the first place) can lead to a full conversation. You might think it’s not a big of a deal, but remember Allāh Azzawajjal said: وَلَا تَقۡرَبُوا۟ ٱلزِّنَىٰۤۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فَـٰحِشَةࣰ وَسَاۤءَ سَبِیلࣰا “And come not NEAR to the unlawful sexual intercourse. Verily, it is a Fahishah [i.e. anything that transgresses its limits (a great sin)], and an evil way (that leads one to Hell unless Allah forgives him).” Al-Isra', Ayah 32 So by all means my dear ukht protect yourself, protect your heart. Stay far away from non mahram men. ⚠️ IF there comes a time where you HAVE to interact with a brother on social media, and there is NO other way.. please and please DO NOT use any emojis or lol/haha’s. Girls who have uploaded their profile pictures ( pic of their face) on social media, Each and every man who will see your profile picture, which will be the number of thousand per day, remember that you'll get the equal sin as much as he does. This is not how beliving women are commanded by Allah عزوجل to be.
